Interesting places that I want to visit is lake
Baikal, Kungur cave, Putorana.
Baikal
Lake Baikal is the most mysterious and enigmatic. Its beauty admired by tourists for many years. 336 rivers and streams flow into the lake. The depth of lake Baikal averages 730 m. The maximum depth of the lake is 1642 m. Even at a depth of 40 m perfectly visible bottom. Where is lake Baikal? Baikal is located in the southern part of Eastern Siberia. The lake is located on the territory of the Republic of Buryatia and Irkutsk region. How old is lake Baikal? The exact figure is difficult to name. Scientists traditionally determine the age of the lake in 25-35 million years. Why Baikal is a unique phenomenon of nature? The main wealth of the lake-water, which is 90% of all freshwater reserves in Russia and 20% of global reserves. It is clean and transparent, and its oxygen saturation is 2 times higher than its content in ordinary waters. There are two reasons for this phenomenon: the solubility of oxygen in water depends on its temperature. The lower the temperature, the more oxygen in the water. The water in lake Baikal is very cold. At a depth of 100 m it is not more than 3-4 °C. also water is saturated with oxygen algae. Baikal water is also purified by the activity of plankton crustaceans. Crustaceans filtered and absorbed into the cells of algae and bacteria. And clean water is returned to Baikal. Your contribution to clean water make sponges, molluscs and worms, eating a variety the dying organisms. Lake Baikal softens the continental climate of these areas. Accumulating the heat received during the summer months, Baikal gives it away with the onset of winter cold. Another inexplicable phenomenon-the shores of the lake diverge at a speed of 1.5-2 cm per year. The lake is home to more than 2,600 species and subspecies of animals, half of which live only in this pond. This lake is the only habitat - Baikal seals (seals). The weight of Baikal seals can reach 130 kg and on land they become clumsy and defenseless. In the waters of lake Baikal there are about 50 species of fish (omul, grayling, sturgeon, burbot). Near Baikal live 200 species of birds (ducks, herons, sandpipers, representatives of the eagle family).
Kungur cave
One of the most mysterious and popular attractions of the Urals is the ice cave near the city of Kungur. The cave was formed about 10-12 thousand years ago and continues to grow and develop to the present day. The length of the Kungur ice cave is about 5700 meters, while only 1500 meters are open for tourists. In total, there are 48 grottoes in the cave, one of which (Geographers) with a volume of 50 thousand cubic meters, more than 60 lakes and 146 so - called "organ pipes" - high mines, up to 22 meters high, reaching almost to the surface. This cave has 58 grottoes, and each is truly unique. For example, in a Diamond grotto Shine and shimmer tray and needle crystals. It seems that in front of you-a magnificent ballroom, whose vaults strewn with real diamonds .Amazing Coral grotto. Its peculiarity is in the colors that turn the underground hall into an amazing work of miraculous, natural art. The walls of the grotto remind us of coral reefs lurking in the ocean depths. Dante's grotto is silent and gloomy. The arches here have a special relief: rectangular stone blocks hang from above. I can not believe that they are not hewn out by man, but arose by the will of nature. The age of the rocks for 250 million years. The overhanging blocks hold fast, but the feeling of fragility of the universe on this site of the underground world does not leave: it seems that they can collapse.
Putorana
This place keeps a lot of secrets, because it exists for millions of years! Scientists are still trying to solve them and find traces of ancient civilizations. Far unsuccessfully. In this area absolutely amazing flora and fauna. Shrub and lichen tundra, glaciers, rocky deserts, spruce forests and taiga. And among the animals can be found not only common, but also quite rare species that are dying out today: wild reindeer, white-tailed eagles, stone capercaillie. And the lakes are home to at least a variety of fish species.Plateau is included in the world Heritage list of UNESCO.On lake Vivi, which is part of this amazing place, defined geographical center of Russia.Summer here is very cold-the temperature does not rise above 16 degrees Celsius. The territory of The plateau Putorana is very large, the climate in some places is very different, so there are areas where it is warm and comfortable.Waterfalls formed by rivers and streams are the most beautiful and the highest in Russia. There are more than a thousand of them. The indigenous inhabitants of this area are called Evenks. The lake is very easy to confuse with rivers. They merge together so that it is simply impossible to notice it.Most often it rains here. And often the sun breaks through the clouds. Therefore, tourists have a great opportunity to enjoy the rainbow. They are here on a permanent basis. There are places where the snow is year-round.
