Цели:

 

1.     Развитие коммуникативных навыков учащихся.

 

2.     Воспитание культуры общения.

 

Задачи:

 

1.     Активизировать употребление лексических единиц по теме в речи учащихся.

 

2.     Автоматизировать употребление настоящего простого и настоящего продолженного времен в речи учащихся.

 

3.     Развивать умения и навыки диалогической и монологической речи учащихся по теме.

Введение (5 мин):

Приветствие и повторение предыдущего материала.

Постановка темы урока: "Talking about Weather."

Hello! I’m very glad to see you. Take your seats.

 

The topic of our lesson is "Talking about Weather.". Today we’re going to do exercises with our vocabulary on the topic ”Weather, clothes, activities”. We’re are going to sing and dance? Make dialogues, describe pictures. I hope you’ll enjoy the lesson.

I’m OK. When are you going to come?

In two days. But what’s the weather like in London these days? What clothes should I take (wear)?

Oh, it’s really warm here. I think you should wear a T-shirt, jeans, trainers. But don’t forget to take a jacket and an umbrella. You know the weather is very changeable here.

1. Sunny:

 

The sun is shining brightly in the sky. It's a warm and happy day. People often go outside to enjoy the sunshine.

2. Rainy:

 

Raindrops fall from the clouds. You might need an umbrella or a raincoat when it's rainy. Puddles form on the ground.

3. Cloudy:

 

The sky is covered with clouds. It's not sunny, but it's not raining either. The weather is a bit gloomy on cloudy days.

4. Windy:

 

The wind is blowing strongly. You can see the trees swaying and hear the sound of the wind. Hold onto your hats!

Now, let's use our tablets/computers to create short dialogues about different types of weather. Work in pairs or small groups. After that, we'll play a fun online quiz to test our knowledge.
