Task 2

TPR

Teacher shows students cards with food and drink one by one and pronounces them (a packet of peas, a pot of yogurt, a jar of honey, a bottle of cola, a loaf of bread, a carton of juice, a bar of chocolate, watermelon, walnut, cracker, peanut, crisps). Students repeat after the teacher.


Task 3


Healthy or junk food

Students should split up into 3 teams. The first team will be named fruits, the second team will be named vegetables and the last team will be named drinks.

Teacher shows a picture with fruit, Vegetables or drinks begins and asks questions.

For example:

Is a banana healthy food?

Is a bottle of cola healthy drink?

Is a jar of honey junk food?

Is a sausage junk food?

Is a hamburger healthy food?

Is mayonnaise junk food?

Is a pizza healthy food?

Is a cucumber healthy food?

Students answer.

A winner gets a chip.

Task 4

Teacher gives to each team some letters. Students should complete words from them.

Pupils' books open. Read the rule (Indefinite pronouns). Then Students do exercise number 19 in their copybooks.

Task 5

Teacher put three cards on the blackboard with a, an, some. Than Teacher gives students pictures with food and drink. Students from team “Fruits” should decide which words are used with the article a. Another team “Vegetables” should decide which words are used with article an and the last team “Drinks” should decide which words are used which words are used with indefinite pronoun some. Than students must put these words on the blackboard.
