Урок английского языка в 4 «А» классе

Тема урока «Shopping for food» (покупка еды)




Цели и задачи урока :

  1. Повторение лексики по теме «Продукты»

  2. Развитие навыков и умений говорения и чтения

  3. Активизация грамматических навыков (местоимения some,any)


Оборудование урока:

  • Картинки с изображениями продуктов

  • Карточки с названиями продуктов

  • Карточки с заданиями

  • Экран, проектор, компьютер




Ход урока:


  1. Организационный момент


T: Good morning, children!

C: Good morning, teacher!

T: I am glad to see you. How are you?

C: We are fine, thank you.

T: Sit down, please ! Let’s start our lesson…, what is the date today?

C: Today is the…

T: What day is it today?

C: Today is…

T: What is the weather like today?

C: Today is…

T: Do you like this weather?

C: Yes, I do\ No, I don’t

T:Why?

C: I like…weather.

T: Ok, very good.


  1. Фонетическая зарядка


T: Now look at the screen. Here is the phonetic rhyme. Let’s listen to the rhyme. I’ll read it, then we’ll repeat after me.

Breakfast in the morning.

Dinner in the day.

Tea comes after dinner.

When it’s time to play.

T: Now let’s play the game. I’ll close one sentence, you’ll read the rhyme. Then I’ll close the another sentence, you’ll read the whole rhyme and so on.

T: Today we’ll speak about the food. Let’s remember the name of food. Let’s play the game “train”. I’ll tell you the name of station and you’ll tell me the name of food. Stand up and go. Stop. The station is “Food”. OK. The next station is “Fruit”. Very good. The next station is “Vegetables”, “Drinks” and so on.

T: Thank you. I see that you know the names of food. Sit down, please.

T: Now look at the screen. Here is the mother elephant. She looks the present. Now listen to the tape-recorder and say what mother elephant bought in the shop yesterday and why. Answer the question: What mother elephant bought in the shop yesterday and why?

    • Now look at the screen. Listen new phrases, look at the pictures and learn how to say:

  • a bag of sweets

  • a glass of juice

  • a cup of tea

  • a bottle of water

  • a box of chocolate

  • three pieces of cake.

How can you translate them?

Open your dictionaries and write down the new words..

  • Now let’s play the game “finish the phrase” I’ll start the phrase and you must finish it. Lets’play. A bottle…, a bag of…, a box of… and so on.
