The Senate:

• they serve for a six-year term
• To be a member of the Senate, one has to:

• be at least 30 years old
• have been a US citizen for at least nine years
• live in the state which one represents

The House of Representatives :

• 435 members
• they serve for a two-year term
• To be a member of the House, one has to:

• be at least 25 years old
• have been a US citizen for at least seven years
• live in the state which one represents

The functions

• enacting laws,
• has authority to raise or lower taxes,
• adopt the budget or other money bills.

The executive branch of power

• the head of state, the head of government, the military commander-in-chief, chief diplomat.

To be President, one has to:
