Случаи употребления простого настоящего времени:

1. Обычные, регулярно повторяющиеся действия;

I do morning exercises every day.

Каждое утро я делаю зарядку.

Указатели времени:

every day, week, month, year - каждый день, неделю, месяц, год

usually, normally – обычно

often – часто

always – всегда

sometimes – иногда

seldom - редко

never - никогда

2. Общеизвестная истина;

The sun rises in the East.

Солнце восходит на востоке.

3. Состояния или постоянные действия:

He lives in Russia. Он живёт в России.
