Seattle

It is the largest city in the North-West of the United States and in Washington State, a major seaport. The city is the district center of King county. It is located between Puget Bay and lake Washington.

UNDERGROUND TOUR

Seattle is a city built on top of another city. After the great fire of 1889. It’s new construction began. You can see the old city taking a special museum Underground tour.

The Space Needle

Space needle was built for the 1962 world's fair. This tower is the most recognizable landmark on the North-West Pacific coast of the United States and a symbol of Seattle. At an altitude of 159 meters there is an observation deck and a restaurant "SkyCity". From

here you can see the panorama of the city, Eliot Bay with Islands, Cascade mountains.

  Gum Wall

A kind of city landmark, which is glued from top to bottom with chewing gum wall. It all started in 1993, when standing in line to the box office of the theater boring students from boredom began to glue coins on the wall with gum.

Chihuly garden and glass

American artist-glassblower Chihuly for 40 years has created a huge number of sculptures, which are now exhibited in dozens of museums around the world. Glass garden in Seattle is one of his most famous projects. It is located in the city center and is an open-air exhibition of the artist's works. Here glass flowers and trees grow , shimmering with all possible colors.

Seattle Aquarium

Oceanarium and at the same time research center is located on the waterfront of Elliot Bay. It is opened in 1977. In the aquarium you can see many representatives of marine fauna: exotic fish, cats, sea beavers, seals, sharks, as well as birds living on the shore. There is a gift shop and a café here.
