Предлагаю вашему вниманию презентацию к уроку по теме "The burglar". Учащиеся познакомятся с очередным приключением героев детективного агенства. Грамматическая сторона речи представлена темами "There's someone/something + ing; see/hear someone +ing", которые учащиеся отработают в игровой форме.

ИГРА на аудирование "Memory test". Суть игры: учащиеся делятся на команды. Им предлагается посмотреть на картинку в течение минуты. Затем закрывают учебники. Слушают текст и отмечают, какие утверждения верны (true), а какие не верны (false). Ответы проверяются и за каждый правильный ответ команда получает 1 балл. Затем, учащиеся пишут десять предложений по картинке с использованием структуры There is / There are  +  -ing. За правильно составленное предложение команда также получает  1 балл. Побеждает команда, набравшая большее количество баллов. 

ИГРА на говорение "Представь и опиши". Суть игры: учащимся предлагается представить одну из следующих сцен: 1) сцена из окна твоей спальни; 2) сцена по дороге в школу; 3) твое любимое место; 4) переполненная железнодорожная станция. Затем, ребята описывают что они видят, слышат, чувствуют с использованием структуры "see/hear someone +ing".

2. Answer the questions. 1. Why does Lord Riley phone Smart Alec and Sweet Sue?  He‘s seen some people photographing his house and taking notes and he thinks they could be burglars. 2. When does the burglary take place?  At night. 3. Do both the burglars break into the house?  No, the woman stands by the car. 4. How does the burglar get into the house?  Through a window near the front door. 5. Why does Smart Alec think the burglar is coming out of the door?  He hears someone coming. 6. What do they do to Lord Riley?  They handcuff him. 7. How do they realize they‘ve got the wrong person?   Sue sees the real burglar climbing out of the window, so they check and see they‘ve caught Lord Riley. 8. Why did Lord Riley come to the door?   To offer Sue and Alec a cup of coffe.
