Учебный аспект: расширить знания обучающихся об англо-говорящих странах.
Развивающий аспект: развивать умение монологической речи (рассказ) на основе прочитанного текста.
Воспитательный аспект: развивать интерес к изучению английского языка; формировать положительную мотивацию к изучению языка.
Задачи урока:
Повторить названия англо-говорящих стран, языков, национальностей.
Совершенствовать умение чтения с извлечением конкретной информации.
Развивать умение монологической речи (рассказ) на основе прочитанного.

Проведение: Учитель предлагает обучающимся прочитать названия англо-говорящих стран, обращая внимание на их правильное произношение. Затем обучающиеся должны назвать прилагательное, образованное от названия страны, и соответствующую национальность.
Today we are going to travel to some wonderful countries and learn information about them. Look at the map, please! You can different countries and continents there. The words on the slaid will help us to remember the names of the countries.

So, tell me, please, how do we call all the countries where people speak English? You are right – all these countries are English-speaking! So, today we are going to talk about the English-speaking countries.
The modern man should know much about other countries and other peoples in order to be well-educated and intelligent. So the topic of our lesson today is to learn more about the English-speaking countries.
Объяснение нового учебного материала. Совершенствование умения чтения.
Метод: “jig-saw reading”
Материал: учебник стр. 40–41, фломастеры, цветная бумага формата А4, маленькие стикеры по цвету текста.
Проведение:
Учащиеся делятся на 5 групп по количеству текстов (по 2-3 человека в группе). Деление на группы осуществляет учитель по принципу “сильный-слабый” ученик. Для этого под парту на каждом ученическом месте заранее приклеиваются стикер того цвета, который совпадает с цветом текста. Каждая группа должна прочитать свой текст и выписать требуемую информацию из текста, оформив ее на листах цветной бумаги, а затем подготовить устную презентацию о своей стране.
