I. Study the job ads given below:
II. Brainstorm ideas about which job is more preferable and why.
Think of possible advantages of one particular job.
Suggest other possible ways to look for a job except looking through job ads in papers.
Find out about different ways to find a job. Compare and analyse them properly.
Choose the most effective method of looking for a job.
III. Find out the rules of writing a CV, a letter of application and a cover letter.
Think of all necessary items to be mentioned and included in your letter of application/CV.
Work as a group, discuss your ideas and select the most efficient idea.
Write your own CV/letter of application/ cover letter.
IV. Represent your best CV with a cover letter or letter of application together with different ways of looking for a job. Prove your choice, give supporting arguments.
V. Analyze all strong and weak points of each group results. Work out best strategy in looking for a job.
VI. Sum up tips in an article for youth magazine (150-200 words) or in a video (3 min) helping young people to start looking for their first job.
VII. Evaluate work of other groups, give arguments to prove your opinion. Be polite and friendly!
