Once upon a time there lived a great king. He was a brave and clever lion. His name was Mufasa. Animals loved him. He had a little son.
His son’s name was Simba. Simba was kind and funny but sometimes naughty. Simba had a best friend. Her name was Nala. They played together every day.
Mufasa had a brother. His name was Scar. Scar was bad. He wanted to be a great king. One day he killed Mufasa. Simba was upset (огорчен). He ran away to the jungle. Scar became a new king.
In the jungle Simba met new friends. Their names were Timon and Pumbaa. Timon and Pumbaa were very funny. They liked to sing songs. Their favourite song was Hakuna Matata.
When Simba became a big lion, he met his dad’s friend Rafiki. Rafiki said “Simba! Remember who you are. You are Mufasa’s son. You are a true king. Scar isn’t a true king. Animals aren’t happy. Animals hate him.”
Then Simba met Nala. She became bigger, too. She was very beautiful. She loved Simba. And Simba loved her, too. Simba was happy with Nala. But when he thought about other animals he became sad.
One summer morning he decided to change everything. He had a horrible battle with his uncle Scar. Simba’s friends helped him. Simba won (выиграл) the battle and became a king. Animals were happy again.
