Цели урока: Введение и первичное закрепление новой лексики по теме:
«At the doctor`s»,проконтролировать знания и умения учащихся
по теме, практиковать учащихся в устном общении по проблем
ной ситуации « Посоветуйте, как стать здоровым», закрепление
грамматического навыка в употреблении косвенной речи.

Ход урока
1.Организационный момент и речевая разминка
-Good morning, everybody!
-I’m glad to see you
-Are you well today?
2.Сообщение целей урока
We are going to read and talk about visiting a doctor. So you need to learn some new words on this topic.
3 Введение и фонетическая отработка новой лексики
Ex. 14(a), p.196
-I want you to learn some new words. Let’s read the words .
-Repeat the words after me, please.
Ученики хором повторяют слова за учителем
-Can you guess what these words mean? Try and find Russian equivalents
3 Тренировка в употреблении новых слов.
Ex. 16, p.198
Now I want you to practice using the new words.
4 Тренировка навыков устной речи
-Do you want to keep fit and to be healthy?
-Task: tell me, please, what you usually do to be healthy.
-I’ve got some problems with my health. Can you help me?
Pupils say what makes them healthy.
P.1-I personally get up at seven o’clock. There is a good rule.
Early to bed,
And early to rise,
Makes a man
Healthy, wealthy and wise.
P.2- As for me I do morning exercises every day. Look at me! I am happy and cheerful.
P.3 – I wear warm clothes and that’s why I’m never cold.
P.4 – I clean my teeth every day. I don’t eat much sweets and sugar.
P.5 – I usually take a cold shower
P.6 – I am fond of sports and take regular exercises
P.7 – As for me I think people should eat the right food. I usually have dairy products or fruit juice for breakfast
P.8 – On weekends our family go outing. We enjoy ourselves there. We play sports games, run, jump. We have a lot of fun. And so on.
T.- You are right. Is there anything more important than health? I don’t think so. Wise people say that health is the greatest wealth. You can’t be good at your studies or work well when you are ill. But if you have a headache, heartache, toothache, backache, or bad pain in the stomach, if you complain of a sore throat or a bad cough, if you run a high temperature or suffer from high or low blood pressure, I think you should consult a doctor.

- Did you see the doctor?
- Did you have to stay in bed?

-Let’s play the game. You will work in pairs. One of you will be a doctor and your partner will be a patient. Make up the dialogues and role play them.
Ученики разыгрывают диалоги.
Примерный диалог:
Patient: Oh, Doctor, I feel bad.
Doctor: I see. Take off your blouse I would like to listen to your heart and lungs.
Patient: Yes, Doctor. And I have a terrible headache.
Doctor: Have you taken your temperature?
Patient: Yes, I have. It is high.
Doctor: Don’t worry. I think you have a cold. Take this medicine regularly, three times a day.
