St Patrick’s Day is celebrated every year on March 17 th .Patrick was a Saint who brought Christianity to Island. Saint Patrick also drove away the snakes from Ireland. The national symbol of Ireland is shamrock which symbolizes the Holy Trinity. Not only Ireland celebrates this holiday but also a lot of other countries all over the world.

Green is the official colour of Saint Patrick’s Day. It’s the national colour of Ireland and the symbol of spring. This day people wear something green. It can be a T-shirt, a dress, a hat, a tie. People don’t work or study this day.
