Методический комментарий
Данное внеклассное мероприятие рассчитано на обучающихся в 4 классе. Мероприятие рассчитано на 45 минут. Задания могут выполняться как индивидуально, так и в малых группах (3-4 человека) или в одной учебной группе.
Цель: совершенствование навыков устной речи, чтения, восприятия и понимания иноязычной речи на слух, письменной речи по теме «Времена года и погода».
Задачи:
общеобразовательная
побуждать учащихся к активному участию в познании окружающего мира;
формировать положительную мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка;
совершенствовать навыки восприятия и понимания иноязычной речи на слух, диалогической и монологической речи, активизация фонетических и грамматических навыков;

развивать навыки индивидуальной и/или групповой работы;
развивать способности к догадке, сообразительности;
воспитательная
воспитывать чувство уважения к иностранной культуре и языку, к природе и окружающей среде;

Ход мероприятия
Good morning, boys and girls. I’m very glad to see you again. I hope you are fine.
Today we’ll have a competition on the topic ‘Seasons and Weather’. We are going to speak about spring, summer, autumn and winter and to recite poems. Let’s divide into 2 teams.
Task 1 – Sounds
Let’s play with English sounds:

Task 2 – True or False (listening)
Listen to the text and find out which sentences are true and which sentences are false.
It is already Sunday. The weather is fine today. We cannot see any clouds in the sky. Mother, sister and I are going to the wood. It is so wonderful to walk in the wood when it’s warm and sunny.
I like to have picnics on the grass and sing merry songs about summer.
The weather is awful today (F).
There are no clouds in the sky (T).
Molly and her family are going to the park (F).
The girl doesn’t like to walk in sunny weather (F).

Black are the clouds.
Brown are the trees.

You have learnt many poems about seasons and nature. Now we’ll write the names of the season months.
You’ll go to the blackboard one by one. At first we’ll remember the names of winter months, then spring, summer and autumn months.
Task 9 – Sentences
Make up sentences and write them down:
