The official name of the UK is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It’s on the British Isles. The UK countries are England + Scotland+ Wales+ Northern Ireland. The Head of the state is Queen Elizabeth II. The Head of the government is Prime Minister. The capital of the UK is London. The population is about 65 mln people. The area is 242 495 km². The Union Flag / the Union Jack is the national flag of the UK. It’s red, blue und white with three crosses on it. People from England are English, people from Wales are the Welsh, people from Scotland are the Scottish, people from Northern Ireland are Irish. But everybody from the UK is British.

Scotland is a small country but it’s very beautiful. It lies to the North of England. Scotland is a country of m……………………, l……………and f…………….The capital is Edinburgh, but the biggest city is Glasgow.
