Сценарий открытого урока по английскому языку.

Тема: «Спорт в нашей жизни» или «На старт, внимание, марш!».

Цели: Закрепление учебного материала, пройденного по теме, развитие коммуникативных умений и навыков, повышение мотивации к изучению английского языка, и занятиям спортом.



Учащиеся исполняют хором песню “Ready, steady, go!”

Учитель:

-Dear friends!

-The theme of our lesson is “Ready, steady, go!”

-During this lesson we’ll repeat everything we have learned about sport in our life. We’ll interview the pupils of our class, who do sports seriously, and at the end of the lesson, we’ll debate the motion “Sport should be an integral part of our life”. This is unusual work and we’ll try to do it.

-Our guests today are: the director of school, the director of Studies, the PE teacher and the class teacher and foreign languages teachers.

Учитель:

-Some people say, that sport is a good thing, but others disagree with this statement. Let’s share opinions. I ask you to come up to the board and write advantages and disadvantages of doing sports.

Advantages:

-Sport disciplines

-You’ve got many friends

-Sports builds your character

-You become well organized

-You always keep fit

Disadvantages:

-Trainings take much time

-You may get injured

-You have little time for other things

Учитель:

-Ok, look! Of course doing sports has got more advantages than disadvantages.

In our class there is a very successful sportsman – the champion in sports dancing – Maria S.

She kindly agreed to answer all our questions. But first let’s see how beautifully she dances.

-Now, please, ask questions to your classmate.

-Maria, you are a champion. How many medals have you won?

-It’s difficult to count, about forty, I hope, I’ll get many more.

-How did it all begin?

-I was four when my parents brought me to the club.

-What do you do to win?

-Oh, it’s easy. I train and train and train.

-Do you have time to do other things too?

-Of course, I do. Although my day is packed and I’m always busy, I read and listen to music, and do things around the house, because I plan the day carefully. Just try to plan your day and you’ll see how much you can do during a day.

-Do you ever stop training?

-When I go to sleep.

-Maria, what does sport do for you?

-Oh, a lot. First of all it develops my character. I’ve become more organized. It helps me to achieve what I want and to make new friends.

-Tell us about your sport.

George:

-This is the sport in which people compete in five different things: running, horse-riding, swimming, shooting and fencing.

Anya:

-Which of these sports is your favorite?

-Of course, shooting.

Учитель:

-Thank you George, and now a surprise for you. Julia R. likes sports so much, that she has made her own crossword. We’ll try to solve it. Who would like to be the first?

-Thank you very much, Julia, and those who have helped to solve this crossword. And now we come to our debates. Of course, you can go to the sports club but it is not for everybody. And what is really for everybody is PE lessons at school. And now we’ll try to debate the motion. “PE should be an everyday school subject”. Our debate will be conducted by Sergey.

Сергей:

-Ladies and gentlemen. We are here today to debate the motion. “Should PE be an everyday school subject?”. We have ten minutes for this debate, please raise your hands when you want to speak. I decide who speaks first, please be polite and don’t interrupt. No one may speak for more than a minute. At the end we are going to have a vote. Let’s begin. Please, Dima, you are the first.

Дима:

-I have never loved sport, but sometimes I tried to do it. I’m not quick and what is worth I’m really afraid that they will kick me or hit me with a ball when I play football. Inside me there is always a very deep fear that doesn’t let me do sports. I’m so unhappy.

Сергей:

-Thank you, Dima. I see, that you are against having PE lessons at school every day.

Вика:

-May I tell some words please?

Сергей:

-Sure.

Вика:

-One of my friends is very tall, and our classmates look at her, like an alien. They call her the Big Friendly Giant. She is always shocked, especially at PE lessons, because she must stand the first in the rank according to her height. Just imagine how much she will suffer if we have PE every day.

Сергей:

-Poor Big Friendly Giant!

-Now you, Julia.

Юлия:

-And my friend is plump and very shy. She doesn’t like to change clothes with other girls in the cloakroom. And by the way, our cloakrooms are very small and stuffy.

Сергей:

-Well, the third pupil is against.

Яна:

-On the one hand PE lessons help us relax from other school subjects, but on the other hand school breaks are so short, that we have only time to change clothes and run to the next lesson. It would be better, if we had PE lessons the last in the timetable and may be, if we had a swimming pool and shower rooms. But still I’m for having PE every day.

Сергей:

-An interesting idea.

Вероника:

-Many pupils who are not sporty pretend to be ill, and miss PE lessons. I think PE lessons should be optional. You chose one sport you like best and you do it. Look! I’ve got an injure at PE lesson, but still I think that PE lessons at school every day is a great idea.

Сергей:

-Thank you very much Veronica, anybody else to speak? No. Than let’s ask our PE teacher, what she thinks about it.

Учитель физкультуры:

-Of course, let PE be in our school timetable every day, but for this there should be suitable conditions.

Сергей:

-Vasiliy Vladimirovich, our director, is with us too. What is your opinion?

Директор:


-I fully agree with PE teacher, and I’ll try to do my best to create good conditions for PE lessons.

Сергей:

-And now let’s vote. Those, who are for the idea of having PE lessons at school every day, raise your hands. I count: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Seven pupils are for this idea, thank you hands down, please. Now raise your hands those, who are against - Five. So, seven pupils are for, and five against.
