Alice: In my world everything is special!
Alice’s sister: Really?
Из дверей выбегает Белый Кролик.
Rabbit: Oh, dear! Oh, dear! I’m late! I’m late!
Alice: Mr. Rabbit! Mr. Rabbit! Please! Stop! Stop! Mr. Rabbit! Wait! Wait!
Rabbit: No, no, no! No time to say good-bye! I’m late! I’m late! A very important date!
Alice: Oh, what is happening? I’m falling down…Oh-o-o!

Алиса: So many berries! They look so nice! (Алиса оглядывается по сторонам. На сцене появляется Чеширский Кот)
Кот: Looking for a mushroom?
Алиса: Who are you?
Кот: Let me introduce myself. A Cheshire Cat, Miss-ss…
Алиса: Alice-ss.
Кот: It’s a pity, not a mouse-ss. (улыбается)
Алиса: Stop smiling!
Кот: Why?
Алиса: Cats never smile!
Кот: They do, especially those who are going to help the little girl to make the next step.
Алиса: And where is this step?
Кот: Straight there. (Вытаскивает из-за спины указатель) “MAD TEA-PARTY”.
Сцена 3 (чаепитие)
Шляпник и Мартовский Заяц вытаскивают стол, на котором посуда для чая. Шляпник и Заяц пересаживают Соню на стул
Соня: (отрывая голову от стола) Twinkle, twinkle, little…
Шляпник и Заяц укладывают ее обратно. Из-за кулис появляется Алиса.
Алиса: Hush, hush… baby’s sleeping.
Алиса кланяется.
Алиса: Good morning!
Шляпник и Заяц: Good afternoon, young lady!
Шляпник: (с отвращением) You are just in time to have a cup of tea.
Заяц: No room, no room!
Алиса: Nonsense, there’s plenty of room here. (Садится за стол, берет чашку)
Заяц: Where are you going?
Алиса: Somewhere…
Шляпник: Somewhere is a good place!
Заяц: It’s just close to nowhere.
Алиса: Can I get anywhere if I take this direction? (указывает на кулису)
Заяц: If you go straight on you will get ahead.
Алиса: But I’ve already got a head (указывая на голову) Thank you.
Шляпник: If you really have a head you must be very clever then.
Заяц: And if you are really very clever try to guess the puzzle.
Шляпник: Two short little legs and an egg for the head.

Алиса оглядывает всю сцену. Подходит к ступеням с чашкой в руках.
Алиса: You know, they are all absolutely mad!
Выбегает кролик.
Кролик: (обращается к Алисе) You are still here! (К Шляпнику И Зайцу) You are still there! Go away at once!
Они грузят Соню и увозят стол.
Кролик: (убегая за кулису, Алисе) Follow me!
Сцена 4
Смена декораций. Алиса оказывается на приеме у Королевы. Королева наводит порядок, поглядывает на часы, подходит к шахматной доске, берет белую пешку. Из-за кулис выходит Алиса с чашкой в руках.
Королева: (переставляя пешку) Here you are at last! Oh, this is my teacup by the way. Thanks for keeping it. (Берет чашку у Алисы.)
Алиса: You are welcome.
Королева: And don’t forget to add “Your Majesty”!
Алиса: Yes, Your Majesty!
Королева: And don’t forget to make a curtsy.
Алиса: (приседая) Yes, Your Majesty!
Королева: And don’t forget to look straight into my eyes!
Алиса: Yes, Your Majesty!
Королева: And who taught you manners?
Алиса: Sometimes my sisters, sometimes my teacher
Королева: I don’t know your teacher…eh absolutely no. You must visit Tweedledum and Tweedledee. And I’m going to rule the country.

Труляля и Траляля
Tweedledee: You must speak!
Алиса: I am very sorry. I was thinking … which is the best way out of this wood. It's getting dark. Would you tell me, please?
(Тут братцы обнялись и , не выпуская друг друга из объятий, протянули по одной свободной руке Алисе. Алиса не знала, что ей делать: пожать руку сначала одному, а потом другому? А вдруг второй обидится? Чтобы выйти из затруднения, она протянула им обе руки сразу, и в следующую минуту все трое, взявшись за руки, закружились в хороводе.)
Алиса: I hope you are not very tired?
Tweedledum: No!
Tweedledum: Look ! It’s a crow!).Братья бросились бежать.
Алиса: Hey! Where are you going? (убегает за ними)

Алиса встречается с Шалтаем-Болтаем.

Алиса: My name is Alice…
Шалтай-Болтай: It's a very stupid name! What does it mean?

Звучат фанфары. Вбегает запыхавшийся Кролик.
Кролик:In time! (Оглядываясь) Where is everybody? Nobody’s here! The Queen will shave them. (Выходит Королева)
Королева: Who mentioned the Queen? I’m here.
Алиса: I’m here too.
Кролик: Two Queens! My heart won’t stand it! Oh, dear! (убегает)
Алиса: (указывая пальцем в спину Кролику) My White Rabbit!
Королева: Never point your finger!
Алиса: But…
Королева: And never interrupt! Since you are a Queen…
Алиса: (перебивая) I’m not a Queen!
Королева: You are! Your turn! (Кот выходит и надевает корону Алисе на голову)
Алиса: Am I “Your Majesty” now?
Королева: Yes, Your Majesty.
Алиса: Then I order…
Королева: (обращается к залу) I invite you all to Queen Alice’s party!
Алиса: How nice of you! And me…and…what about me?
Королева: You!? Well, you may also come. (приседает в реверансе, уходит)
Алиса снимает корону, разглядывает ее, одевает вновь.
Алиса: I never thought of Queen’s life to be so dull!
Выходит Кот.
Кот: Should we start?
Алиса: Start what?
Кот: Queen Alice’s party of course! The ball is announced open.

На сцене зажигается свет. Алиса спит на качелях. С ее колен падает книга. Алиса просыпается, потягивается, поднимает книгу.
Alice’s sister: Wake up, Alice, dear! What a long sleep you have had!
Алиса: Oh, I have had such a curious dream!
Alice’s sister: It was a curious dream, dream, dear, certainly; but now run in to the house for your tea; it's getting late.
Сцена 2 (Алиса и Чеширский кот - – лес) Федя
Алиса: So many berries! They look so nice! (Алиса оглядывается по сторонам. На сцене появляется Чеширский Кот)
