I'd like to tell you about myself. I live in… I am going to be a teacher. I like my future profession and I am going to do my best to become a good specialist. I live with my family. It is big (small, not very big) and very good. We love each other very much and always try to help each other and to spend as much time together as we can. I have a lot of friends, too. I am fond of reading (dancing, drawing, playing computer games…). My favourite sport is swimming (tennis, football, basketball…). My friends and I often get together to play different games, to go for a walk or to the disco or simply to talk.

I'd like to tell you about a good teacher. Teacher's profession remained at all times the most honorable but at the same time the heaviest. The ability to pass your experience to younger generation is a talent. Probably, every teacher wants his pupil to achieve desirable success. And certainly each teacher is pleased when it happens. But the most important pleasure for any teacher is his pupil’s gratitude. We will never forget the teachers, who showed us the way to our adult life, who worked so hard to make us not only diligent student, but also worthy people. When we finish our school, get diplomas we will come to see our beloved teachers, administration and say how grateful we are. And at last, I would like to tell all teachers: "Thanks a lot for your diligence and work! ".

I'd like to tell you about my spare time. I have not very much free time, because I try to study well. I hate (like) to stay at home and laze about. Even when I stay at home, my friends often come to my place. We usually watch new films, listen to music, play our favourite computer games or just talk. In my free time I usually hang out with my friends or surf the Net. If it is summer I don't use the computer much and have a great time outside. But in autumn, winter and spring I have to use computer more because sometimes we can't do our homework without using the Internet. And I usually chat with my friends because I don't see some of them for a long time. (Also I like…)

I'd like to tell you about travelling. It is the most popular and pleasant way of spending time. I haven't travelled a lot yet. When I was a child I dreamt about the most romantic (city) in the world- (Paris). For me (Paris) is a fairy tale. As a child I wanted to visit (Disneyland). I think I would be the happiest person in the world if I visited (Paris). I would like to see (the Eiffel Tower). Hope it would be fantastic. I would like to do shopping in (Paris) as (Paris) is a fashionable city. In (Paris) there are so many interesting places to visit: (the Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris, the Elysian Fields) and many others. I would like to visit (Paris). I'd like to live out my dream. I would be in the seventh heaven.

I'd like to tell you about my hometown. I live in …But now I live in Rylsk. Firstly Rylsk was named in 1152. It is situated on the Western part of Kursk region on the bank of the river Seym. Rylsk is an ancient and beautiful town. It isn't big, but cozy. There are no big factories in our city and the houses are not very large. There are many churches, cathedrals and ancient places. We have several schools and colleges here. The town also has a cinema. I love to go and watch movies with my friends. There are a lot of monuments in Rylsk. It is also a place where a lot of festivals and celebrations are held. Rylsk is a unique town with its own ingenious atmosphere. I like Rylsk very much.

Secondly, thanks to modern technologies we can communicate with people, write letters, find new friends. Thirdly, with the help of modern technologies we can gain different knowledge. We can study various subjects. Thanks to the Internet you can do and learn almost everything. You can watch movies, play games, make various projects, buy many things, read books and do many other things. Modern technologies are great helpers nowadays. They simplify our life.

I'd like to tell you about the ecological problems. Ecological problems are causing great damage to our environment. Among the most urgent ones are the ozone layer depletion, acid rains, global warming, toxic pollution, deforestation, overfishing, destruction of soil so on. The Earth is a home to millions of different kinds of species, which make up the complex world of nature. There are different types of pollution: water pollution, air pollution, ground pollution and nuclear pollution. Ecological problems have no borders. However, environment disasters can be avoided if people broaden ecological education. Every person should understand that the beauty of nature is extremely fragile. And government must take serious actions against pollution.

I'd like to tell you about learning foreign languages. I think, nowadays it is very important to know foreign languages. Learning foreign languages broadens our minds. In my opinion, languages are especially important for those, who work in different fields of science, technology and politics. A foreign language helps to know the native language better. Nowadays English has become an international language. Over 300 million people speak it as a mother tongue. This language can help me to speak with people from all over the world, make new friends and participate in international contests. Personally, I think that to know foreign languages today is absolutely necessary for every educated man, for every good specialist. So let’s learn foreign languages and discover with them many interesting things in our life!

I'd like to tell you about the healthy lifestyle. It is a pleasure to look at a strong, athletic man and slim beautiful lady. It is known that healthy people live longer and their career is more successful. To look well you must follow some simple rules: don’t smoke and take drugs, don’t drink alcohol, don’t eat junk food, eat more vegetables and fruit, sleep well and do exercises. As for me, I don’t smoke. I know that this bad habit may cause serious health problems. I do morning exercises, try to eat "healthy" food. Keeping fit and going in for sports is also important for our health. Lack of exercise in our life is a serious problem.
Healthy way of life concerns our body, mind and soul. Healthy people live longer, they are more successful and they enjoy their life. I believe that it’s not difficult at all to follow these simple rules and they are worth it.
10. Мой рабочий день.

I'd like to tell you about my working day. On week days I usually get up nearly seven o’clock. I don’t like to get up early, but I have to, because I have a lot of work to do during the day. I make my bed, wash my face, put my clothes on and have breakfast. Then I go to college. I have classes till three o’clock, it depends on a week day. Then I come home and have dinner. After my dinner, I have a rest for a couple of hours and then I do my homework. If I have some spare time I do some work about the house. Then I have free time. I go for a walk with my friends or watch TV, or read books or surf the Net. Then I have supper. I usually go to bed at about eleven o’clock.
