Aims/Мақсаттары:

1.Educational/Білімділік: To consolidate and generalize knowledge of students on the “Geography”; to enrich students knowledge in all spheres of country study; to widen their vocabulary through doing different tasks/Студенттердің "Географиялық" білімін жетілдіріп, мемлекеттің бар облыстарын қарастырып, жаңа сөздер арқылы білімдерін кеңейту;

2. Developing/Дамытушылық: To develop student’s skills in oral speech; to develop student’s writing, reading and speaking abilities through giving several tasks; to improve their mental and critical thinking/ тапсырма беру арқылы оқу, жазу, сөйлеу қабілеттерін, психологиялық тұрғыдан дамыту;

3. Cultural/Тәрбиелік: To bring up their respect for people of different nationalities ; to bring up students to respect and love foreign language/әр ұлт өкілдерін сыйлауға, шетел тілдерін ұнатып, құрметтеуге тәрбиелеу;

-Great Britain consists of four main parts: England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland.

The UK is the shortened word of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Great Britain includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Although Britain is a unitary state, the countries of Britain have separate national identities, variations in culture and tradition.
England is predominantly a lowland country, with the Pennine Chain, the Cumbrian mountains and the Yorkshire moorlands in the north. Wales is a country of hills and mountains. Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis is in the central highlands of Scotland. Northern Ireland is only 21 km from Scotland. 
Britain has frequent weather changes through the seasonal cycle of winter, spring, summer and autumn.

People in the four lands of Britain come from ancient sources:

1.The ancient Celtic people who inhabited western and Central Europe;

2. The Angels, Saxons and Jutes - Germanic people who came to Britain from the third century;

3. Scots from Ireland , who began to settle in Scotland in the sixth century .

СК является укороченный слово Соединенного Королевства Великобритании и Северной Ирландии. Великобритания включает в Англии, Шотландии, Уэльса и Северной Ирландии. Хотя Великобритания является унитарным государством, страны Великобритании имеют отдельные национальные идентичности, различия в культуре и традициях.

Англия преимущественно равнинная страна, с Пеннинские, в горах Камбриан и вересковых пустошей Йоркшира на севере. Уэльс является страна холмов и гор.
