Цель урока: активизация и закрепление лексики по теме: «Путешествие»

Задачи урока:

1. Образовательные:

·         обобщить и систематизировать изученный материал по теме.

·         активизировать лексику по теме "Путешествие" в различных видах деятельности.

·         совершенствовать устную речь учащихся

2. Воспитательные:

·         формировать умение работать в группе и в парах,

·         воспитывать культуру общения и уважительное отношение к собеседнику.

3. Развивающие:

·         развивать умение понимать речь на слух,

·         развивать способность к обобщению, память, внимание, мышление и языковую догадку при помощи средств родного и английского языков;

Оборудование:

·         компьютер, презентация к уроку, иллюстрации, раздаточный материал (карточки)

Определяем тему урока прослушав песню о путешествии на английском языке. Слушаю предполагаемые ответы детей.

• What is the theme of our lesson today?

• Yes, we are going to travel. Dear students, I invite you to an amazing country and this is the symbol of this country.

• У чащиеся должны определить направление нашего путешествия по символу страны (Роза)

• We are in Uitash airport in Kaspisk and we are going to fly to England airport Heathrow. By the way, do you know the meaning of the word “Uitash”?

• Let’s start from the capital of England. Do you know it’s name?

• This is the first task for you. There are the dialogues about London. You must put the words in right order and act the dialogues out.

- Trafalgar Square, Albert Memorial and Royal Albert Hall, the National Gallery, London Tower, the British Museum and some others.

-  Oh, it’s very easy. Go along this street, take the second turning on the left.

- Thanks a lot.

- Not at all. Don’t worry. You won’t miss it.

- Yes, you’re right. When you turn you’ll see St. Paul’s Cathedral.

- No, it will take you 10 minutes to get there.

-  Excuse me. I’m looking for St. Paul’s Cathedral. Can you tell me where it is, please?

- OK. The second turning on the left.

-  Is it far away from here? My friends are waiting for me there.

• Let’s continue our travelling. Now we are going to visit the most romantic city of England. It’s Stratford upon Avon. You should read the text and guess whom it is about. The next task is to choose true and false phrases.

Учащиеся должны прочитать текст и определить о ком идет речь. Для наглядности детям предложены фотографии известных личностей. Следующее задание – найти верные и неверные утверждения после текста.

---------was an English poet, playwright and actor. He was born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon. ----------- was the third child in the family. His parents had eight children in total. William Shakespeare went to Stratford grammar school.

In 1582 ---------- married Anne Hathaway.

Later -------- moved to London. He lived and worked in this city for many years. In 1599 a theatre was built on the south bank of the River Thames. It was named the Globe. This was the theatre where ------------ company performed. Work at the theatre made ----------- a wealthy person.

Several years before his death ------------ moved to Stratford. He died on 23 April 1616.

Among his works there are such masterpieces of the world literature as "Romeo and Juliet", "A midsummer night's dream", "Othello", "King Lear", "Hamlet" and many others. Apart from that ----------- wrote 154 sonnets.

Развитие навыков аудирования

• You should watch the video and say what city is mentioned in it.

Учащиеся смотрят видео на английском языке. Определяют о каком городе идет речь в видео.

• Let’s listen some more information about Manchester and fill the sentences.

• Учащиеся слушают аудиозапись и дополняют пропущенную информацию в тексте

• The population of the city is more than 500,000 people. Manchester has a big airport. Sports, especially football and rugby are very popular in the city. Manchester is a name of two popular football clubs: Manchester United and Manchester City.

• Let’s visit the next city. This city is famous for its rock-band. This is The BEATLES, the most famous rock – band of 20^th century. But I am telling you the name of their city after you’re singing their song. Let’s do it.

Учащиеся поют песню группы Битлз «Yesterday». Текст песни предложен детям на экране.

• Ok. It was great! And the name of their city is Liverpool.

• So we visited today London, Stratford upon Avon, Manchester, Liverpool.

Развитие навыков проектной деятельности

• You are travel agencies and you should to make tourist guides to present to our tourists.

Учащиеся делятся на 3 группы: туристическое агентство «Дагестан», Туристическое агентство «Англия», туристы. Задача туристических агентств заключается в разработке и демонстрации презентации о достопримечательностях их родины в целях привлечения туристов. Задача туристов -прослушать презентации и сделать свой выбор. (Весь необходимый материал для выполнения проектов предоставлен учителем)

• While the agencies are working we are going to play the quiz “Nations and nationalities”

• Пока группы учащихся работают над проектами «туристы» принимают участие в викторине. За каждый правильный ответ учащийся – турист получает авиабилет, который пригодится ему во время голосования за проект.

Организация окончания урока

- Учащиеся демонстрируют свои проекты.
