Dear Mary,
Thank you for your recent letter. I should apologize for not having written before, but I was really busy getting ready for my exams.
You’ve mentioned that you are trying to lead a healthy life and I totally approve of your decision. As for me, I also try to stay healthy – I go to the gym after my classes every evening. I believe that doing sport and having a balanced diet makes people healthful and athletic, and healthy living prolongs your life and fills you with energy.
I was curious about your coming summer holidays. Where are you going to spend them? Are you going to enjoy them alone or with your family and friends? How long will they last?
Sorry, I have to go now, it’s time to help my mom.
Take care,
Irina
Book Review
I did not expect to enjoy this book so much as it isn’t my usual genre. I did read The Da Vinci Code so was curious about the comparison. I think Mr. Barany’s book was far better written. Once I started The Torah Codes I couldn’t put it down and read it in one day!
The book was well-paced and has a certain rhythm to the story lines. Skillful writing, realistic as well as unique characters (especially the hero), and a plot full of twists and turns puts The Torah Codes in the top of my “Best Books I’ve Read” list.
The author takes some liberties in logic and there are a couple of “he did not just go there” moments, but his writing style overcomes any of that kind of criticism. This book is one that most Dan Brown fans will really enjoy.
I’m not much into the subject matter that the title suggests. I was a little concerned that this book was going to have an agenda about Torah codes, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Torah Codes has a compelling story line and was actually hard to put down.
The character Nathan is likable and often very funny, and the action kept me turning the pages. I must nitpick on one issue, though. Sophia, the main female character, is a Tarot card reader, which although an interesting twist to add, I would have liked the real meanings of the cards to have been used, not strange ones that are never used.
This however, probably won’t affect the majority of the audience, so it’s definitely not something that should deter anyone from reading the book. This is a fun, quick-paced story that will not disappoint. It’s a fun book to share with a special friend.

SUB :- Application for the position of teacher
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to apply for the position of a teacher in your prestigious school and with reference to your employment advertisement in Employer Weekly Magazine on 15th July 2014.
I have been working as an elementary school teacher in Novartis Primary School in Carolina for the past one year. I have very good expertise in teaching and handling primary children very well as I have lot of liking for small children.
I have been associated with even pre-primary children during my training period of six months during which I was entrusted with the job of honing the phonetic and motor skills for small children below the age of 4 years. I have also maintained school children records apart from conducting parent-teacher meeting to brief the parents about the progress of the children. Besides even teaching is my passion and I dream to become a great teacher some day.
I possess good levels of energy and positive thinking to bring a change to the subtle behavior and nature of children in the tender age group. Given all the qualities and attributes that I possess I am sure I will be able to add effective teaching contribution to your school when you hire me.
Please find my latest resume enclosed with this letter. I would be glad to meet your management for an interview at any date and time of your convenience.
Yours sincerely,
Noana P Jones
Essay
Some people say that it is impossible to work without inspiration. Others say that
inspiration is not essential.
People of different professions have been looking for inspiration for centuries. But we still don't know what inspiration is and where it can be found. Many people wonder whether inspiration is important in our lives and what makes us feel it.
In my opinion, inspiration is part and parcel of the creative process. In this state we are capable of making discoveries, writing poems, inventing new things and making something unusual. Every masterpiece of art, literature, music or architecture has been created thanks to inspiration. This wonderful feeling has nothing in common with mediocrity, boredom or idleness. When I feel inspiration, I can work for many hours running and I never feel tired or bored. On the contrary, I am full of energy and enthusiasm.
However, some people say that they have no inspiration. They consider their lives to be monotonous and say that every day is exactly like the previous one. Working, saving, planning, bringing up their children, doing household chores — these are the daily aspects of their lives. But I think that inspiration is everywhere and it lives in every soul. Sometimes looking at the rising sun, falling leaves or smiling children we feel the desire to create. Many things can inspire us and fill our head with new ideas and thoughts.
To conclude, only love of their work and inspiration can make people create beautiful and unusual things. Inspiration is very important because it makes us work, think, search, create and express ourselves. In other words, it makes us live.
