-So today we`re going to speak about ecological problems and the theme of our lesson is “Save the Earth!”(«Спасите Землю!») (Слайд 1)

-Why do we need to study this theme?

-Yes, it is very important because the Earth is our common home, a big green home. We should take care of our home.

-What are we going to do at the lesson?

-Before reading look at the picture and the headings in the text. (Acid rain, air pollution, water and soil pollution).

-We will make and fill in the fishbone using the text, the information from the text. I will give you some parts of our fish.

1. The fish head –is the name of problem, what is it? (1группа)

2. these upper bones will be – facts about this problem (2 группа)

3. these lower bones- are the results of these facts.

(3 группа)

4. the fish tail- the summary, conclusion.( 4 группа)

(Каждая группа получает заготовки для рыбного скелета и фломастеры, и после чтения начинаем заполнять и вывешивать на доску Рыбу.)

Учащиеся продолжают работать в группах с текстом и заполняем рыбный скелет из шаблонов на доске поэтапно, крепим его на доску.

Актуализация знаний по теме.

-So we all need to work together to stop this problem before it’s too late

What can WE do else to keep the Earth clean and healthy?

What can WE do to save the Earth?

Look at the board. We have a task: two pictures Happy Earth and sad Earth, come to the board and put the words what we should do to save our Nature and what we shouldn’t do, don’t make our planet sad.

You should go to the board and stick these words to the appropriate picture.

plant trees;

help homeless animals;

use water more economically;

use bicycles more than cars...

We shouldn’t: (Don’t make our Nature sad)

throw litter into rivers, lakes and forests;

cut down trees;

kill animals, insects and birds;

burn fire in forests...etc

Teacher: I agree with you that we should do something to solve the ecological problems. We all need to work together to stop this problem before it`s too late.
