4. Рассказ о целях и задачах урока:

Today we are going to speak about British traditions to celebrate Easter. You will play different games.

But first of all, a few words about history of Easter. Easter comes in spring (in March or April). It is a religious celebration and lasts for a week. To celebrate the arrival of spring, Easter parades often take place on Easter Sunday afternoon, where people can wear new clothes. (слайд 2-4)

Easter Monday is a national holiday in Britain, when games and sports are played!

Do you like to play games? Dear friends, do you know any Easter symbols? (слайд 5)

There are many Easter symbols in great Britain:

Easter Eggs, Easter Bunnies, Chickens, Flowers, hats, Easter Cakes.

5. And for the beginning let’s read an English poem by heart:

6. Marvelous! Now let’s play the game “Colour the picture”. (слайд 6) Look at the picture, 2 please.(На экране появляется Пасхальная картинка – разукрашка, двум командам раздается 2 копии этой картинки):

1. The basket is brown.

2. The chick is yellow.

3. Two eggs are red.

4. Three eggs are green.

5. One egg is blue.

6. The small Bunny is white and black.

7. And now the next context. It is “Hatch an egg” («Выведи цыпленка»). You will get 7 eggs with the word written inside. Try to make up a sentence using this word! (слайд 7)

We play and paint eggs on Easter.

8. Музыкальная пауза (Цыплёнок)

9. Children, look we’ve got an Easter puzzle (На проекторе появляется пазл). Each tem should find these words in the puzzle. Draw a circle around each word as you find it. Words to find are: LILY, EGG, BUNNY, CHICK, and EASTER. (слайд 8)

10. The next context is “Egg Hunting” Read the sentences and find out the position of all the Easter eggs. (cлайд 9)
