Обобщающий урок-соревнование по теме "Funny animals" в 4-м классе

Цель урока: обобщение знаний по теме «Животные».

Задачи урока:

Образовательные:

• расширить знания обучающихся о животных.

Практические:

• тренировать употребление тематических слов во всех видах речевой деятельности;

• активизировать изученные грамматические правила: употребление степеней сравнения имён прилагательных в устной речи; образование II формы глагола, употребление порядковых числительных, порядок слов в предложении.

Развивающие:

• развивать внимание, память, мышление, воображение, творческие способности;

• развивать учебно-организационные, интеллектуальные, информационные и коммуникативные умения школьников.

Воспитательные:

• воспитывать любовь к животным, природе;

• воспитывать взаимоуважение, умение работать в команде.

Оборудование: аудиоматериал, классная доска, раздаточный материал: текст «Pets in Britain», набор для рисования, наглядный материал

Приветствие

Good morning, friends! I am glad to see you.

Целеполагание

Today we are going to review the topic «Pets and other animals». You will have a competition between two teams. At the competition you will guess riddles, make up sentences to learn more about animals, tell stories about wild and domestic animals, recite a poem, guess the crossword and read the text. I think you will enjoy our competition.

But before the competition let's train our tongues. Look at the Board, listen to the tape and repeat the poem.

Now let's divide into two groups.

Name your teams. The first group, what's your name? The second group, what's your name?

Now I’ll give you pictures with the animals. Your task is to write as many animals as you can.

В течение одной минуты ученики смотрят на листик, где изображены животные, затем записывают названия животных на лист. Представители каждой команды зачитывают список животных.

Describe one of the animals. You must tell about the animal, where it lives, what it looks like, what it likes to eat, what it can do. Don't name it.

При составлении рассказов команды опираются на кластер.

Each team will think of an animal, and the other team will guess the animal by asking questions.

На доске написаны шифры из цифр, которые означают порядковый номер буквы в алфавите. Командам нужно расшифровать эти слова и записать название животного.

Pets in Great Britain

Lots of families in Great Britain have got one or more pets. Dogs are the favourite pets and there are about six million of them in Britain. The second favourite pets are cats (about five million) and the third favourite pets are different beautiful birds. They are about two million.

Some families do not keep cats or dogs. They keep other animals as pets in their homes, for example monkeys, snakes.

The English take good care of their pets. They give them nice names: Rover, Racks, Cindy, Misty (for dogs); Albert, Snowy, Fluffy, Tom (for cats); Polly, Chatterbox (for parrots); Guy, Scamper, Shipley, (for monkeys). When they speak of their pets, they say, “He”, “She” (not “It”).

The English give to their pets nice food to eat. They buy food for their pets in pet shops: for dogs - Pedigree, for cats — Whiskas. Birds like to eat com. The English are pet lovers!
