Тема: «Health is the best wealth’’


Цель: развитие языковой компетенции


Образовательный компонент цели:

  • развитие навыков говорения, аудирования,  чтения, по теме "FOOD and HEALTH";

  • совершенствование навыков грамматики.

Воспитательный компонент цели:

  • воспитание толерантности к обычаям и традициям страны изучаемого языка на основе повторения и закрепления лексики по теме "FOOD and HEALTH".

Развивающий компонент цели:

  • развитие мотивации к изучению иностранного языка, навыкам языковой догадки, интеллекта, памяти, совершенствованию внимания.

 

 Задачи:

 

  • обобщить пройденный лексический материал;

  • повторить конструкции “Would you like”, "I would like";

  • закрепить понятие об исчисляемости существительных;

  • совершенствовать речевые компетенции (диалогическая речь) на уровне предложений, коротких высказываний;

  • закрепить грамматические навыки употребления количественных неопределенных местоимений;

  • формировать сознание  необходимости беречь здоровье, что следует делать / не делать, чтобы быть здоровым;

  • прививать познавательный интерес, интерес к творческой деятельности.

 

Тип занятия: закрепление полученных ЗУН.

 

Форма проведения: урок – ролевая игра “At the restaurant” (диалогическое общение).

 

Методы обучения:

  • по степени самостоятельности мышления учащихся: репродуктивные, продуктивные;

  • по степени управления учебной работой: под управлением учителя, самостоятельная работа.

 

Материально – дидактическое оснащение:

учебник, проектор, компьютер, экран, доска, MP3, карточки, презентация (Power Point 2007).

 

















Ход урока:

 

I. Организационный момент.

T: Hello, my dear children, guests. I am glad to see you! Today we`ll devote our lesson to health, its problems, healthy way of life. We’ll try to find the answer to such question as “What to do to be healthy?” because health is considered to be above wealth. Our general topic is “Healthy eating habits”. At the lesson we are going to repeat the vocabulary on “Food” topic. We’ll practice the usage of countable and uncountable nouns with such pronouns as much, many, a lot of, (a) few, (a) little. We’ll train the dialogue speech on the theme “At the Restaurant”.

T: Firstly, let’s remember the names of some products, fruits and vegetables.

T: Eating habits are very important. Every person chooses his own eating habits. But we all must follow some popular rules to be healthy (слайд ): dieting, eating wholemeal food, eating high fiber food, eating low fat food, exercising, hygiene - health

T: Here you see how people use unhealthy food in everyday life. What is your opinion on it?

P1: It’s evident, that most of our pupils prefer junk food to healthy one. It’s a shame, I am here with them, I can’t do without crisps, mayonnaise, fizzy drinks…

P2: I can’t but agree with P1, these points made a great impression on me. But I also can’t help eating sausages, hot dogs, chips… Any time I’d prefer crisps to vegetables or fruit.

P3: Tastes differ of course, personally I can’t imagine myself eating hamburgers. More than that I hate having low-fat sausages, white bread, pork in my ration.

T: A plenty of people, however, adore healthy food. This diagram reflects the results of the survey. I am looking forward to hearing to your points of view.

P1: I’m not only glad but I’m even proud that many students care about their health and escape junk food and drinks. I, for example, try to do the same! I always remember “Health is above wealth”.

P2: As for me, I disagree that people drink so little juice (only 29%). As far as I know, many people practically every day buy any juice. I could boast that I am excellent at making pure juice from fresh vegetables and fruit. I can teach you making it!

T: I asked a group of pupils to make a survey on this problem in your class. P, will you present the results.

P4:We asked 25 pupils. Here you see that the most part of students of our class doesn’t do anything, in a word, they have inactive chaotic life. 34% of respondents eat fruit and vegetables, that’s good for their health. Only 20% of students go in for sport! It’s quite clear we should change our lifestyle, eating habits.
