Викторина для учащихся 6-9 классов

Данное мероприятие разработано для 6-9 классов с целью расширить знания учащихся о культуре страны изучаемого языка, развить познавательный интерес к традициям страны изучаемого языка, артистические качества детей, навыки речевой деятельности на английском языке. Мероприятие можно провести как на уроке, так и вне урока.

Задачи мероприятия:

1) Расширять знания учащихся о культуре страны изучаемого языка.

2) Развивать познавательный интерес детей к традициям и обычаям страны

изучаемого языка.

3) Расширять словарный запас учащихся.

4) Развивать умение работать в команде.

5) Воспитывать ответственность у учащихся.

6) Развивать артистические способности детей

І. Организационный момент

Dear students, our guests! I have the honour to declare the opening of the English- speaking competition “Learning English May Be Fun”.

You will test your knowledge of English and your general knowledge because we are going to speak about people and events, traditions and customs of Great Britain.

First of all let me introduce our jury which will judge this rivalry.

So, the jury is ready, now – to the competitors. It’s time to find out the names of our teams.

Команды по очереди выходят на сцену и называют свое название, девиз и эмблему.

ІІ. Конкурсы.

1. «Разминка»

The first task to our teams is to answer to the questions. They connected with Great Britain, its history and traditions. Our teams will answer the questions one by one.

Командам предлагается ответить на 10 вопросов (5*5). За каждый правильный ответ команда получает 1 бал. Если команда не отвечает на вопрос, право ответа получают соперники. Максимальное количество баллов -5 (если каждая команда ответила правильно на 5 вопросов)

( St. Paul’s Cathedral)

1. Who was called “an Iron Lady” (Margaret Thatcher)

Жюри подводит итоги конкурса.

1. “Пословицы “

Task two. It’s time to remember English proverbs and sayings. Match the proverbs with their translation.

Обе команды получают по 6 пословиц – 3 на англ языке и 3 на русском. Команда зачитывает пословицу на англ языке, а соперники дают перевод на русском. За каждый правильный ответ команда получает 1 балл. Максимальное количество баллов -3

What is done cannot be undone. Сделанного не воротишь.

A friend is need is a friend indeed. Друзья познаются в беде.

Better late than never. Лучше поздно, чем никогда.

There is no place like home. Нет лучше места, чем дом.

Your home is your castle. Твой дом – твоя крепость.

Life is short, art is long. Жизнь коротка, искусство вечно.

1. “ Конкурс капитанов “

Вариант 1

I want our captains to go to the centre. They will take the specials task. You must choose a poem and recite it very well as a real poet. If you recite the poem by hart you will get 2 points more.

Капитаны команд получают стихотворения, которые будут читать с листа. Если капитан рассказывает стихотворение по памяти получает дополнительно 2 балла. Конкурс оценивается в 5 баллов. Максимальное количество баллов – 7.

4. “ Show what I say”/ “ Зарядка “

Конкурс проводится пока капитаны готовятся к выступлению. Команды имитируют зарядку, выполняя команды учителя. Оценивается точность выполнения движений всей команды. Максимальное количество баллов – 10. Если в команде ошибаются в движении очко не засчитывается.

5. “ Будем вежливы “

As you know the English people are very polite. Now we will get the task and choose the suitable variant of you answer in each situation.

Каждая команда получает карточки с ситуациями общения. Необходимо выбрать правильный вариант ответа на предложенную реплику. Микродиалоги разыгрываются в паре по 2 участника с каждой команды. Каждый правильный ответ оценивается в 1 балл. Максимальное количество баллов -6
