Цель: поддержание интереса к изучению английского языка.

Задачи: повысить интерес ребят к географии, культуре страны изучаемого языка, к образу жизни людей, их традициям и обычаям, а также к самому предмету «иностранный язык»; вызвать у школьников мотивацию к изучению английского языка, расширить лексический и страноведческий запас учащихся; совершенствовать навыки аудирования, чтения говорения и письма.

Оборудование: Презентация “ Брейн ринг ”, карточки с заданиями, видео- аудиозаписи песен.

Ход урока

Звучит мелодия игры «Брейн ринг», под нее входят учащиеся и занимают свои места.

Teacher: Dear guests, teachers and friends! We begin our game “BRAINRING”.Today we're going to speak about Great Britain. Let's introduce with the players. Applaud them! So, today we’ll know: Who is the smartest? Boys or girls? The aim of the Quiz is to revise the main information you learnt at the classes “English is fun!” and of course to learn more about this country.
