There are four seasons in the year. Now look at these                                       pictures in slides or posters very attentively. Please remember them.

What season is it?    It is spring.March,April,May.

What season is it? It is autumn. September,October,November. 

What season is it? It is summer. June,July,August.

        What season is it?    It is winter.December,January,February 

 

V. But there are ordinal numerals.You must remember that numerals have the definite article-the-and the ending – th.

 

 

1st    -first  month is  January

2  nd   - second   month is February

3 rd -     third  month is March

4 th   - fourth month is April

5 th -      fifth  month is May

6 th -   sixth month is June

7 th - seventh month is July

8  th – eighth month is August

9 th - ninth month is September

10 th -tenth month is October

11th –eleventh month is November

12 th – twelvth month is December
