Цель: создание условий для развития коммуникативной компетенции учащихся в основных видах речевой деятельности через учебный материал урока.

Задачи:

Познавательный аспект

  1. расширять знания о мире англо-говорящих стран (географическое положение, достопримечательности и национальные парки Канады ).
  2. Увеличение объёма знаний страноведческого характера. 

Развивающий аспект

  1. развивать ассоциативное, креативное и критическое мышление.

Учебный аспект

  1. Practice our grammar «Conditional»
  2. развивать у учащихся лексико-грамматические навыки в рамках изучаемой темы; учить употреблять слова,  фразы и грамматические структуры по теме.
  3. развивать навыки чтения и аудирования (с целью извлечения необходимой информации); учить читать и понимать тексты на слух.
  4. развивать навыки говорения в заданной ситуации иноязычного общения: учить высказываться и понимания  важности изучения английского языка.

Воспитательный аспект

  1. Воспитывать у учащихся толерантное отношение к стране изучаемого языка, развивать ценностное отношение к природе и уважительное отношение к другим народам;
  2. развивать познавательные аспекты

Greeting, the beginning of the lesson: Hello, boys and girls! Take your seats, please! Hello, dear guests! Welcome to our class! We are very glad to see you.  Let's begin our lesson

Motivation1.Will you give me Russian equivalent’s of the proverbs «It is no place like home.» «East or west home is best»

2.But then tell us ‘’Why do people travel?’’

To see different countries &  continents.

To discover new things & sights, views.

 To see amazing and interesting things

To know different ways of life and to their traditions.

To meet different people,

 To introduce with them.

To try different national food.

 To find the job, to study.

Checking up the home task. Now, look at the words, the pictures on the  blackboard  and at the map and try to remember our last lesson, where we began to speak about Canada one of the English speaking countries. Your task was to find more information about Canada and share. Now tell us what associations you can imagine and present connecting with these words and pictures. Have you got any ideas? Choose one of them and speak.

Niagara Falls is the most splendid sight  in Ontario, the 8th wonder of the world in one of the national parks. The attractions: the sky wheel, riding over the helicopter, a boat riding

Canada is situated in the northern part of the North-American continent.

Canada is washed by the Pacific Ocean and by the Atlantic Ocean. It boarders by the USA.

The largest mountain is ROCKY MOUNTAINS

 Great lakes :Huron ,Superior ,Erie ,Michigan ,Ontario .Rivers: The  Mackenzie ,The Yukon, The .St .Lawrence River.

The population of the country is about 29 million people.

People of different nationalities live in Canada. There are two official languages of the country: English and French.

The   capital   of the   country   is   Ottawa.   Other   large important   cities   of   Canada   are   Montreal,   Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, Hamilton, Winnipeg and Quebec.   Canada consists two provinces and ten territories. Each province has its own government.

Formally, the head of the country is the Queen or the King of Great Britain.

IV. Основной этап:

1. Let’s continue to talk about Canada. Let’s read ,retell the text on page 154 ex 6 and make  the presentations, and invitations and mini  projects  about Canada as an advertisements   to attract the interest of the travelers    and tell about this country.  Listen to your classmates.

 

2.Grammar rules: Conditional (table)

: with the help of the table lets speak about the meaning, forming and the using of it. Let’s do ex. 7 page 152 changing the sentences. Let’s send messages with Conditional using the theme Canada

V. Relaxation for increasing our mind (showing pictures and slides with music) Look, listen and relax, admire the beauty of the world and speak about them.

 

VI. Reflection: Brain storming. We have spoken, listening and watching videos about Canada. Now, tell us what you learn, know about Canada, answering the questions, making the test. Guess the words or continue the sentences:

1.Canada consists of (10 provinces 2 territories)

2.Canada is the (second largest, unique country of the world. It is high developed country. The living standard is very high)

3.Canada is situated (in the northern part of the North America continent)

4.Who were the native people of Canada (Indians, Iroquois)

5.What are the official languages in the country (English, French)

6.Who is the head of Canada (formally the Queen, Elizabeth II)
