How to teach pronunciation to beginners

2. Elicit the sound from the students if they do not understand give more example for the same sound to understand the sound which sound you are using use the sound so clear in your examples
3. Tell the students to write the symbol on the board if they can’t write draw the symbol on the piece of paper show them just for the second and then ask write the symbol on the board if the again can’t show them for two second then will must write that.
4. Again give some examples for the same sound.
5. Tell to the students make examples for the same sound.
6. Now explain the sounds.
7. Play the tape recorder for the first time (Books closed & should be shut).
8. Tell the students open your books and read (silently).
9. Play the tape recorder for the second time (Books open).
10. If all doesn't work, try a pronunciation bee. You write down the words and they'll say them. Keep doing this every 1 or 2 weeks. It should improve their pronunciation.
