School life

School year begins on the first of September. It is the Day of Knowledge. Children going to school with their bags and flowers on the first school day look so clean and nice. Some of them wear uniforms, but some don't. School is not only studying.

In Belarus schools offer a wide range of out-of-class activi­ties. First of all, there are a lot of sports clubs where children and teenagers can play football, ice hockey, basketball. There are a lot of societies where children can learn to make model planes, cars. Schools have got societies where children and teenagers can learn foreign languages, where they can learn to draw. Schools offer societies where school students can learn to dance or to Sing or work with the computer.

. People get skills after training, practising, after learning to do things. If people develop skills, they can develop talents. It’s im­portant to have chances or opportunities for developing skills,
