London ZOO
London Zoo is the world's oldest scientific zoo.
There many animals to see including lions, camels, giraffes, penguins, tigers, monkeys and meerkats. In fact there are 750 different species of animals.
Nearly 10 000 people enjoy visiting the Zoo every day.
The zoo is divided up into many different areas which are great fun to explore and help make it one of London's most popular tourist attractions.
London Zoo is in Regent’s Park, North West London, a 10 minute walk through the park from Regent's Park tube station on the Bakerloo line or a shorter walk from Camden Town tube station on the Northern Line.
London Zoo is a fantastic place to spend a few hours or a full day, and ideal for young families.
The zoo is the oldest scientific zoo in the world and opened in 1828.
At London zoo you will find more than 700 species of animals and more than 15,000 individual animals.
