Монолог "Языки"

Task 3. You are going to give a talk about foreign languages. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes.

Remember to say:

• why lots of people learn foreign languages nowadays;
• why you have chosen to do the English exam this year;
• what you did to prepare for your English exam.

You have to talk continuously.

Nowadays, more and more people learn foreign languages. Some people learn them because they need them in school. Others study languages for work. There are people who learn foreign languages as a hobby.

Foreign languages are very important in our life. Firstly, if you know different tongues you can get a better job. Secondly, you can get information from all over the world. Finally, foreign languages allow you to communicate with people from different countries.

This year I have exams and I chose English because I study it hard and I like this subject. I hope to pass the exam well.

To prepare well for my exam I have extra lessons with tutor. Also, I read books, watch films, and listen to music in English.

I believe that every educated person should know minimum one foreign language. Studying foreign languages will help people in the world to understand each other better.
