Theme of the lesson: “Making a paper crane

Methods: working in pair, work in a group, individually.

Form of the lesson: New theme.

Materials: cards, handouts, pictures, board chalk, computer TV, sheets of papers.

Objectives of the lesson

1. Students get information about cranes, learn new words.

2. Students will read , answer the questions and learn instruction to make a paper crane .

3. Students can understand that cranes symbolize eternal youth, longevity.

The procedure:

Motivation: - Good afternoon my dear students

-How are you?

- What date is it today?

- What day of the week is it today?

- Who is on duty today?

- Who is absent?

- What was your home task?

- Are you ready for the lesson?

Student’s actions: -Students will try to answer all teacher’s questions .

Brain ring: “ Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star .”

Checking up the home task: Ex: 13 p 153. Complete the sentences.

Presentation: Now, let’s pay attention to our new words:

New words: species -вид,түрү

vocal- вокальный,ырчылык

berries- ягоды, мөмөлөр

characteristic- характерная особенность, мүнөздүү өзгөчөлүк

holy -святой, ыйык

eternal -вечный, түбөлүк

longevity - долговечность, көп жашоо

-Students learn new words, read and translate the text with the help of the new words

Practice: Gr .1 Students ask questions about the text, from Ex:3

Gr.2 Answer the questions

Students learn instructions to make a paper crane

Application: Ex:3, 7 p .156 They make a paper crane individually in pair.

( Students decorate their paper cranes in the classroom)

Home task: Students retell the meaning of the text.
