Aims and objectives

Aims and objectives are clear, related to the age and interests, meet curricular goals

Expected outputs/outcomes

The outcomes of the project are achievable , the product is creative, innovative and appropriate for students age-group

Students make the groups of two people according to the special cards

Project plan

Introducing EQ

The EQ is presented through interesting video which leads to discussion. After discussion students take roles and make a plan (without working with sources or useful materials)

Key activities identified

There are several activities such as mind-mapping, listening tasks, writing stories

Break up larger activities into smaller tasks

The tasks are clear and achievable. Moreover, students learn prepositions step by step through activities and independent work.

Scheduling

Every stage of the plan has timing. In general, the project takes 3 lessons and 150 minutes, not including outside the classroom research and home tasks

Implementation of the 21st century skills

The plan describes many skills to be developed such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, media literacy, communication

Monitoring the plan, shifting tasks, adapting the plan

Teacher monitors the progress through checklists and tasks, facilitates the implementation of the project

Assessment

Plan contains only one type of assessment- peer assessment, though it is better to use also self and teacher-led assessment.

Risks can occur during the distribution of roles as well as during the assessment of the projects

Every lesson students do some activities and evaluate each other’s progress, do research, gather information and then share with it

Final project review

Final product is a story played on the layout. Students should choose the way of presenting layout, its design and compose an interesting story using prepositions of place.
