“Can another language replace English and become international?”

Why do I have such a question? English is recognized as international, and perhaps it will always be so. But how did English become international? This is due to the history of the colonization of other lands by England, as well as its power and influence. But time is changing, and many countries have taken the path of economic and social development, increasing their influence on the world stage, for example, China and Russia. In addition, Spanish and Arabic are widely spoken. Competitors in the English language already have, and this suggests that the reasoning on this topic is becoming relevant. The world is changing rapidly, and you can expect any confluence of events that can make any other international. In antiquity, such a language was the ancient Greek language, at the present time - English, and who knows what language people will communicate with each other in the future.
