2) — What are you eating, Kate?
— Cakes. Chocolate cakes. I like them.
— Are they really nice?
— Yes, they are. They are very nice.

— I’m afraid not. I’m hungry. I want them all for myself.
3) — What’s the matter? You look very sad.
— Oh, it’s you, Don. Nothing is the matter.

— It’s not a problem. I just…you know…everyone is going to the cinema but I must stay at home with my little brother because my parents are out tonight.
— Would you like to go to the cinema with me? We can see the new film tomorrow.
4) — What are you doing here, Mary? Why aren’t you going home? It’s rather late.
— I can’t go home. There’s a terrible big dog sitting near the front door. And I’m… I’m afraid of dogs. Can you help me, Tom?
— I think I can. I have some sandwiches with me. I’ll give the sandwiches to the dog and try to take it away from your door.
— Oh, thank you!
