1. Peace to the World! We call for peace!

Till peace prevails, this call want cease.

Oh, people! Rise in every land

And battle bravely hand in hand!

1. Peace to the World! Both old and young.

Of every land, of every tongue.

They sing their names, sign one and all

Beneath the flaming word that call.

1. Peace to all countries! Down with war!

To live in peace to evermore.

To build, to work, to sing with glee,

To be continued, well and free.

1. I want to live

And not to die!

I want to laugh

And not to cry!

1. I want to feel

The summer sun,

I want to sing

When life is fun.

1. I want to fly

Into the blue,

I want to swim

As fishes do.

1. I want to fight

For what is right –

Against disease,

Against despair,

Against start hunger

Everywhere.

1. I want to live,

I want to mate.

No atom bomb

Annihilate

My shining world.

1. I want to laugh

And not to cry!

I want to live

And not to die!

1. Alle Kinder wollen lachen,

Ihren Eltern Freude machen.

Alle wolen glucklich sein

Unterm warmen Sonnenshein.

Alle Kinder wollen bauen,

1. Mutig in die Zukunft shauen. Ein Sonnenkreis

In blau und weiB

Das hat ein Junge gezeichnet

Und aufs Papier

Schreibt er dann hier

Worte, die jetzt singen wir:

Immer scheine die Sonne,

Immer leuchte der Himmel,

Immer lebe die Mutti,

Immer lebe auch ich!

Sun up on high –

That was the little boy’s picture.

He drew for you,

Wrote for you, too –

Just to make clear what he drew –

May there always be sunshine,

May there always be blue skies

May there always be Mummy,

May there always be me.

Солнечный круг, небо вокруг,

Это рисунок мальчишки.

Нарисовал он на листке

И подписал в уголке:

Пусть всегда будет солнце,

Пусть всегда будет небо,

Пусть всегда будет мама,

Пусть всегда буду я.
