КВН “ English is fun”

(5-7 классы)

Цели:

1.Повышать интерес учащихся к изучаемому предмету;

2.Активизировать раннее изученный материал в игровой форме;

3.Формировать навык работы в команде, умение применять полученные знания на практике;

4.Воспитывать чувство поддержки и уважения друг к другу.

Ход мероприятия:

Attention, please! If you want to take part in an exciting competition, show us your talents, be ready!

Be ready to recite English poems, to repeat the numbers and the English letters! Be ready to describe the room and to know the irregular verbs!

1 этап

Уберите лишнюю фразу и определите время года,

оно и будет названием вашей команды.

Find the odd phrase and guess the season,

it will be the name of your team.

To make a snowman to swim and fish

To lie in the sun to have a rest from school

To wear warm clothing to lie in the sun

To ski and skate to play hockey

Winter summer

So the name of your teams are summer and winter

2 этап

Определи время года.

Команды прослушивают небольшие тексты и догадываются, о каком времени года идёт речь.

Guess what season is it.

1. It is frosty. The temperature is about 20 degrees below zero. ( winter)

2. The weather is rainy. It is cold. It clouds over. ( autumn)

3. It is hot. Children have holidays.( summer)

4. Snow is melting. Icicles are falling. (spring)

Конкурс стихотворений о временах года.

Spring is green. Autumn is yellow.

Summer is bright. Winter is white.

Recite the poems about the seasons.

Каждая команда по очереди читают английские стихотворения о временах года.

4 этап

Конкурс-пантомима.

Команда получает картинку с изображением какого-то предмета. Представитель команды мимикой и жестами должен объяснить то, что изображено на картинке так, чтобы противоположная команда смогла отгадать.

Show pantomime! You shouldn’t say a single word. The opposition team guess what you mean.

5 этап

Составь как можно больше слов из слова “demonstration”

Make up as many words as you may out of the word “demonstration”

6 этап

Guess the colours and the numbers.

На плакате нарисованы квадраты разных цветов. Каждый цвет обозначает определённую букву.

Жёлтый – S Чёрный – I Зелёный- D

Красный – H Синий – T Розовый - A

Белый – E Оранжевый - C

Коричневый – R Серый - O

Учитель называет цвета, из соответствующих им букв собираются слова.

7 этап

What do you like? What do you dislike?

Что вы любите делать, а что не любите.

Конкурс на знание английской грамматики,

использование герундия после глаголов like, hate dislike.

Ребята заканчивают предложенные учителем фразы, используя герундий и картинки.

Конкурс на знание английских цифр и алфавита.

Guess the numbers and the ABC

Собери слово. Каждая буква алфавита соответствует своему порядковому номеру: a – 1,b – 2, c – 3, d – 4, e – 5 и так далее.

8, 15, 12, 9, 4, 1, 25, 19 – ( holidays)

Конкурс загадок про мебель

Guess the riddles about furniture.

1. Your mother cooks breakfast, dinner, supper on it. (STOVE)

2. You watch it, when you have some free time. (TV)

3. You sleep in it. (BED)

4. You put cheese, milk, meat, fish in it. (REFRIGERATE)

5. You put books on it. ( SHELF)

Конкурс на знание форм неправильных глаголов.

“Three forms of the irregular verbs”

Учитель показывает карточки, на которых написаны первые формы неправильных глаголов. Необходимо назвать вторую и третью форму неправильного глагола, a также его перевод.

You should name the second and the third form of the irregular verb I show to you.

And tell us its translation, please.

На доске – картинка, на которой изображена жилая комната. Команды по очереди описывают предметы, которые в ней находятся.
