в 11 классе

Тема: "Технология подготовки обучающихся к сдаче ЕГЭ. Раздел «Письмо»."

Цель урока: обучение написанию сочинения с элементами рассуждения на тему «Романтические шоу на ТВ» через коммуникативно-обусловленную ситуацию.

Задачи: практические

1. ознакомить с организацией текста (форматом) эссе

2. отработать использование функционального языка и средств логической связи

3. совершенствовать практические навыки написания сочинения с обоснованной точкой зрения

развивающие

1. формировать критическое мышление на основе аргументированных высказываний

2. стимулировать речевые, когнитивные и творческие способности обучающихся через работу в парах и группах

воспитательная

1. прививать желание практически использовать иностранный язык

Оборудование: компьютерная презентация, распечатки с текстом эссе и средствами логической связи, заставка с Youtube, учебники для 11 класса под редакцией Тимофеева.

Ход урока:

1. Введение темы урока (на интерактивной доске заставка “Love at first sight”)

T. Good morning, dear friends! Today we’re going to talk about one of the most popular TV genre - reality shows. And exactly – dating shows. They have become an integral part of Russian TV and abroad. At the previous lesson we got acquainted with program “Love at first sight” and at home you were to think over and answer the questions about this program. Open your student’s books at page 39, exercise 22.

T.1) Do you like dating shows? Why? Why not?

2) What makes dating shows popular with the audience?

3) Why do some people never watch them?

4) If the TV people phone you some day inviting you to take part in a dating show what would you say? Yes or no?

3. Введение темы сочинения

1) Т. There exist different points of view on this kind of TV programs. Some people enjoy them, others consider them to be thoughtless and even stupid. One of them is as follows: “Dating shows on TV help men and women understand each other better”. Last year you learned how to write an ”argumentative” essay, giving arguments “for” and “against” on the theme given. At today’s lesson we’re going to learn how to write an” opinion“ essay, expressing your point of view.

4.Ознакомление с форматом эссе и средствами логической связи

T. First of all, when writing an essay in English what do you need to know?

S1. We need to know how many paragraphs there should be in this essay.

S2. We should use formal language.

T. And who knows how many paragraphs are there in an” argumentative” essay?

S3. Four.

T. What are they?

S3. An introduction, arguments “for”, arguments “against” and a conclusion.

T. In an” opinion“ essay there are five paragraphs: an introduction, your personal point of view, an opposing opinion, a paragraph why you don’t agree with the opposing opinion and a conclusion.(всё перечисленное появляется на слайде презентации).Now let’s discuss the language needed: what does it mean “formal” language?

S4. No contractions, formal vocabulary, no exclamatory sentences.

T. Right. (обучающиеся знакомятся со следующим слайдом презентации)

And, of course, you should use linking words to join your ideas in the text. Pay attention to the board! (слайды сo средствами связи).

5.Работа в группах (подготовка высказываний на тему сочинения).

1) подготовка к выполнению группового задания

T. To write a good essay at home you need some practice. Let’s divide into three groups: the 1^st will be “optimists” who should approve the idea of the essay and give 2-3 reasons for it, the 2^nd – “pessimists” who should find reasons for an opposing opinion. The 3d group are preparing an introduction. ( обучающиеся работают в группах в течение 5-7 минут).

2) презентация частей сочинения

T. Don’t forget to use words, showing a sequence: first, second etc. (к доске выходят представители групп и озвучивают свои идеи)

6. Анализ готового эссе (работа в парах).

1).T. Now I want you to become experts. Your task is to read and say whether this essay requires the necessary demands for an exam .( обучающиеся знакомятся с текстом эссе в течение 2-3 минут).Is everything all right with this essay?

S. The format of the essay is wrong –there are 4 paragraphs instead of 5.

T. What paragraph is missing?

S. Paragraph 4 in which we state why we don’t agree with the opposing opinion.

2).T. You’re quite right. Now let’s correct this essay, work in pairs and compose the 4^th paragraph. (ученики работают в парах и сочиняют 4 абзац). Please, share your ideas with the class! ( c места обучающиеся зачитывают свои идеи).

7. Домашнее задание

T. Your home task for the next lesson is to write an “opinion” essay on the given theme. ( S/b p.39, Ex.23)

T. 1) What new things have you learned today?

2) Do you know how to write an “opinion” essay?

3) Can you do it at home on your own?
