Задачи:
Описывать своё отношение к деньгам, способы заработка с использованием лексики по теме;
Совершенствовать навыки говорения.
Тип урока: изучение нового материала.
Приемы работы: парные, индивидуальные.
Оборудование урока: УМК "Spotlight" 10 под редакцией Ю.Е. Ваулиной, Дж. Дули; аудио к тексту.
Новые слова:

Ход урока
Организационный момент (3 мин)
Teacher: Hello, dear pupils.
Ps: Hello, teacher.
Teacher: I'm glad to see you. How are you doing today?
Ps: I'm good, thank you. And you?
Teacher: I'm very well. Thank you. Sit down, please.
Teacher: Tell me, please, what day is it today?
Ps: It's...
Teacher: Yes, you're right. And what date is it today?

Teacher: And do you remember what month is it now?

Teacher: Very good. How clever you are!
Фонетическая зарядка. Введение в тему (5 мин)
Teacher: Look at the board. Here you can see some pictures of different things. Let's name them.
Ps: I can see clothes and accessories in the picture. / I can see sweets and snacks in the picture. / I can see computer games in the picture etc.
Teacher: Right you are. So, pupils, do you like to buy such things?
Ps: Yes, I do / No, I don't.
Teacher: So, let's know what British teenagers spend their money on.
3. Изучение нового материала (20 мин)
Teacher: Open your books on p. 28 ex. 1. Read the title and the first paragraph of the article. What do you think British teenagers spend their money on?
Ps: They may spend their money on sweets, snacks, clothes, computer games etc.
Teacher: Let's listen and know.
(Ученики слушают аудио и следят по тексту)
Teacher: So, pupils, how about you? Do you get enough money? Are you a big spender or a saver?
Ps: I personally get enough money. I usually spend them on snacks and clothes. / As for me, I spend money on new computer games etc.

Ps: I think that most of teenagers in our country spend their money on going out, sweets and snacks. / I think that the majority of our teenagers spend their money on computer games and magazines etc.

Teacher: Now, pupils look at the ex. 4b on p. 29. What do you spend your money on? Make dialogues in pairs.

P1: I spend most of my money on magazines.
P2. Me too. I also buy accessories and clothes etc.
5. Рефлексия, оценка знаний (5 мин)
Teacher: It was very interesting to work with you, pupils. You're so active and clever!
