Mass Media

There are a lot of kinds of media in the modern world: newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, the Internet. Media has a great influence on our life. Nowadays, information is everywhere.

When I was growing up, I read paper books and watch television. Somewhere along the way, when I studied at the University, I got information from books: I went to the library to find some book I need or I bought it in bookshops. These days, if you want to learn something or even to buy you should only take your tablet or smartphone and find all information in the Internet.

Modern communications media has totally changed my life. I remember when the first mobile phone appeared: it was huge, heavy and has a black-white screen. That goes back away. At present, there are smartphones, laptops which are very useful. They have many options. They replace calendar, alarm-clock, book, and even TV.

What about me, I can`t work without my laptop. I read e-books, I send e-mails, I prepare my reports using it. I don`t imagine my life without modern media.
