1. London is the capital of Great Britain.

2. It's one of the largest cities in the world.

3. London is situated on the river Thames.

4. The city is very old and beautiful.

5. London is divided into 4 parts: the City, the West End, the East End and Westminster.

6. The City is the oldest part of London, its financial and business center.

7. Westminster is the most important part of the capital.

8. It's the political center.

9. The Houses of Parliament is a very beautiful building.

10. It has a very big clock called Big Ben.

11. Opposite the Houses of Parliament is Westminster Abbey.

12. It's a very beautiful church.

13. To the west of Westminster is the West End.

14. We can find most of the big shops, hotels, museums there.

15. To the east of Westminster is the East End, an industrial part of the capital.

16. There are no parks or gardens in the East End.

17. Most of the factories are situated there.

18. London has many places of interest.

19. One of them is Buckingham Palace.

20. It's the residence of the Queen.

21. The English are proud of Trafalgar square.

22. The British Museum is the biggest museum in London.
