Образовательные задачи:
1.Активизировать употребление лексики по теме «Modern Inventions and gadgets»
2.Практиковать обучающихся в устной речи.
Развивающие задачи:
1.Развивать самостоятельность, критичность, креативность, воображение, способность осуществлять речевые действия;
2.Развивать умение делать сообщение, рассуждать о фактах, приводя примеры и высказывая свое мнение
3.Развивать навыки работы в проектной группе
Воспитательные задачи:
1. Воспитывать потребность к творчеству; уважения к труду и чувство сопричастности к мировой истории
Речевой материал — лексика и грамматика предыдущих уроков.
Технология: личностно- деятельностно- коммуникативнaя
Методы: Метод проектов, сотрудничество
Формы: групповая, самостоятельная, фронтальная
Оснащение: доска, компьютер с диапроектором, презентации учащихся, схемы, модели, реклама, карточки оценивания, видеоролики, буклет программы конференции сертификаты-гранты, униформа для ученых
Ход урокa
Класс разделен на группы примерно по 3—4 человека . Одна группа — технические эксперты. Все остальные — изобретатели. Выполнение проекта проходит в два этапа. На первом подготовительном этапе изобретатели готовят свои изобретения к защите, а эксперты готовятся задавать вопросы, помогающие выяснить суть изобретения. Дети готовят оформление кабинета: расставляют парты, украшают зал конференции, выставляют модели, вешают схемы изобретений, рекламу, таблицы; печатают программу конференции в буклетах. Каждая группа учёных готовила описание своего проекта в форме презентаций, видеороликов и тезисы выступления на английском языке , делали своими руками модели, схемы изобретений и таблицы преимущества применения технических средств. На втором этапе изобретатели представляют свои команды ( название, девиз, эмблемы) , дают рекламу своего изобретения, объясняют его техническое устройство , функции, преимущества использования. Учащимся предложена следующая схема защиты работы:
1. Название изобретения.
2. Обоснование.
3. Физические основы (законы и явления).
4. Сферы применения.
5. Плюсы и минусы
Эксперты представляются в начале конференции, оценивают каждое изобретение ( письменно в карточках оценивания и устно задают вопросы) и в конце конференции дают мотивированное заключение, награждают ученых грантами.
Для того чтобы изобретатели могли сделать рекламу, объяснить устройство
и преимущество изобретений, а эксперты — дать оценку, учащимся необходимо
использовать материал, усвоенный в этом цикле, что и является целью данного урока.

We are glad to see you at the International conference of young scientists “ Young creators” We can hardly imagine our modern life without computers, internet or mobile telephone: they have become a necessity rather than a luxury. But science is developed constantly and new inventions are being made in different spheres of life . Life is easy and exciting with them.
People have invented a lot of useful things to make the life more comfortable. Almost every day a new gadget or product appears in the world. But we always need something more useful, more effective and more comfortable.
At the conference there are three groups of young scientists with their inventions from different countries. And there are experts who will value your projects. Let’s begin our work. Be ready to present your projects. Now the experts can introduce themselves.

- Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. We are the team of young scientists. To make the world better and safer we try to develop Super Power Suit.
- We are ready to present our work - SPS.
К : In a consequence of the last events, two acts of terrorism in Volgograd, in Boston, in Bulgaria and in many other places make us create the newest development of code-named SPS This suit is the best thing in military equipment. It was developed for special- trained group of people who will be engaged in search of terrorists and possible threat prevention.

External parameters
The color of the costume changes depending on the environment in which it is located.
The material is deformed depending on the conditions of the sphere.
Weight is 30kg
The body scheme is made of aluminum, titanium, trace elements, microchips.
More than 100 video bugs are inserted into the body scheme. They help to survey environment from different angles .
Memory can be expressed for two centuries long.
The men in the suit neither burn, nor sink.
М: The armor of Iron Man gives the superhuman force and physical protection. The person in such suit can lift more than 70 tons in a standard mode of functioning, besides jet boots allow him to fly. The suit includes such various arms as repulsion beams on hands, rockets, lasers and flame throwers. The sunbeam in the center of the thorax is capable to radiate different types of light energy, and its helmet contains communication devices, the equipment for scanning, and the recorder.
Laws of Physics and Chemistry
The SPS work is based on Laws of Physics and Chemistry
Л: Newton's and Archimedes’ laws help to make it quick and agile. Laws of reflection allow man to watch in any distance. The law of conservation of mass helps to find properties, which make the costume invulnerable.
1-st Law
There exist frames of reference relative to which any object either remains at rest or continues uniform motion in a straight line unless acted on by some outer force. (the law of inertia)
2-nd Law
Acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the resultant of forces acting on the object and inversely proportional to its mass.
3-d Law
The forces with which two objects act on each other are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.
Ю: This costume is unique. It is used in military industry and against the terror. It is easy to operate. It saves time and people’s lives. Life is safe with it. It gives a lot of possibilities to the society. The main benefit is the speed with which we can do something. The design is modern and first-class.
Arc reactor
is used as a source of nuclear energy for power suit. Also this reactor is a powerful weapon.
Exoskeleton
Protects against bullets , missiles , overload , power effects , as well as the owner of the suit gives superpowers .
Repulses
Repulses built into the foot of Iron Man’s costume are jet engines to fly . Besides, palmer motors can be used to attack
Computer system and helmet
In the suit there are several systems that are controlled by supercomputers using holographic display system .
Armament
Suit equipped with shoulder machine guns and anti-tank missile launchers built into the forearm costume. Missiles can harass and destroy several targets at once .
Computer
The suit is managed by supercomputer with artificial intelligence
Disadvantages
- The price is high but the lives of people are more expensive.

K:We would like to show you the scheme of our invention.
The main function of the Universal car is to transport people to different places. But it is not an ordinary car. It can go on earth, swim and fly. If the Universal Car moves on the road, it looks like a normal car. But if a river, a lake or a sea appear on the way, wheels are transformed into an airbag. If you move in the air for a long distance, wheels will be replaced into the wings. Scavenger air flow assumes force of air under high air speed vehicle. Airflow regulator creates a streamlined car and prevents warping. Pump fills the air cushion vehicle for movement on the water. LED lights create powerful lighting even during fog.
O:Technical characteristics of the device.
Let’s demonstrate technical characteristics of the device.
Attractive body of a universal machine is made of duralumin. There is a powerful engine in the heart of it. It drives the wheels, wings and the motor of an airbag. But the engine is not fuel. Our Universal Car is set in engine for the solar energy. Powerful solar batteries are located on a roof of the device. Thanks to the powerful engine and turbine the car can accelerate to 250 kilometers per hour on the ground. Wings provide acceleration up to 1,100 kilometers per hour. With a screw speed of the car reaches 35 knots on the water surface. Maximum weight of our invention is 1.5 tones. This weight allows the Car not only drive fast, but stay on the water and in the air

It allows you to travel all over the world on any road - highways, field trails, and sea or air paths. It will be useful to the modern generation. The main benefit is price. It is reasonable

Our group is «Stark Industry». We are from Russia. Our mottо is “Knowledge. Sense. Invention.” We want to show our new modern invention. It is an AEROBOARD. The motto of our invention is “Speed. Simplicity. Movement.”
When we thought about aeroboard we dreamed:

Aeroboard is a new type of transport of modern world. It looks like a normal skateboard. It is made of fiberglass which consider as a strong and light material. It is designed for the movement of people through the air. It is easy to use and operate. It is necessity rather than a luxury. The main benefit is the speed which we can move from place to place.
A.V.(Laws) An aeroboard works on 2 physical laws.
The first law is magnetism. It is a form of interaction between moving electric charges carried out in the distance via the magnetic field.
The second law is gravitation. It is an universal fundamental interaction between all material bodies.

In the device there is a liquid nitrogen. After transition to a superconducting state, the stuffing of the device flies up over a surface on some centimeters, contects with a support on magnetism force. The board looks like usual railways. All fans of an extreme and healthy lifestyle are glad to this event. It works as a skateboard, only without wheels, and for work a road isn't necessary for it.
A.V. The power supply is thought to be rather powerful to lift a person in the air , but thus shouldn't make heavier a board excessively. These are lithium - oxygen batteries for receiving the electric power oxygen from atmosphere air which connects with lithium. Duration of charging of the battery is 12 of hours. Usage time is 24 hour
