Цель: создание условий для воспитания уважительного отношения к культуре другой страны через ознакомление с её традициями, поэзией, музыкой; формирования способности участвовать в межкультурном диалоге путем сравнения традиций наших стран.

Задачи: 

1. познакомить с традициями празднования Рождества в Великобритании;

2. закрепить в речи учащихся необходимую тематическую лексику;

3. совершенствовать навыки аудирования, говорения, чтения;

4. развивать творческий потенциал учащихся, приобщая их к национальной культуре страны изучаемого языка.

Оборудование: ПК, мультимедийный проектор, аудиозапись “Jingle Bells”, “ We wish you a Merry Christmas ”, презентация на тему «Рождество», рождественские украшения (елка, рождественские чулки, открытки, календари,), карточки с заданиями и упражнениями для проверки понимания увиденной презентации.

III.Просмотр и чтение презентации;8 мин.

IV.Выполнение заданий на лексику; 3мин.

V.Физкультминутка; “Jingle, bells” 2 мин

VII.Выполнение заданий на понимание текста в группах (T|F); 3 мин

VIII.Выполнение заданий по грамматике ;3 мин.

XI.Отгадывание ребуса по теме в группах; 5 мин.

My name is Mary and Christmas is my favourite holiday. I like choosing gifts for my family. I always decorate a Christmas tree with toys and lights and prepare a lot of tasty food. I’m really fond of Christmas because I usually invite my family and we have a wonderful time together. Last December my grandmother told me that she couldn’t come to my place at Christmas. She wasn’t feeling well. Granny lives a quiet life in the country. All her children and grandchildren live far away from her in the city. So I decided to visit her on Christmas Eve. I bought a small Christmas tree and some Christmas presents for my granny. I rang at her door at 6 o’clock. Granny greeted me with a kiss. I could see that she was very happy. We hugged each other. I decorated the tree and granny’s living room. My granny made tea and we both drank it with Christmas cake. I believe last year my granny really enjoyed her Christmas.
