Сценарий открытого урока в 10 классе по теме "Прогресс и цивилизация".

Цели урока:

• усвоить и пополнить лексический объем языка по теме;

• совершенствовать процесс коммуникативного обучения английскому языку.

Задачи урока:

Обеспечивать первичную отработку лексики по теме: “Изучение прошлого”.

Совершенствовать умение понимать содержание читаемого текста, разбивать предложения на смысловые группы и фонетически правильно читать текст.

с использованием модели говорения “от чтения текста к последующему обсуждению на основе предложенных  упражнений на понимание содержания прочитанного”.

Формировать умение Строить высказывание в соответствии с предложенным планом правильного использования слов с близким значением.

Развивать умение на слух воспринимать прослушанную  информацию.

Познакомить учащихся с употреблением модальных глаголов, выражающих степени вероятности в прошлом.

План урока:

1. Организация класса.

2. Обучение лексической стороне речи.

3. Совершенствование навыков в письменной речи .

4. Совершенствование чтения вслух фраг­мента информационного , научно-популярного стилистически нейтрального текста;

5. Совершенствование умения задавать вопросы с це­лью получения необходимой информации;

6. Отработка навыка описывать одну из трёх предложенных картинок по выбору учащегося с опо­рой на план высказывания;

7. Обучение умению сравнивать две кар­тинки и обосновать своё отношение к предложенной проблеме.

Imagine that you are preparing a project with your friend. You have fond some interesting material for the presentation and you want to read this text to your friend. . You have 1,5 minute to read the text silently, then be ready to read it aloud .

New evidence found by Russian archaeologists suggests that humans may have lived in the rugged lands of Arctic Siberia much earlier than previously thought. The discovery of central hunting tools along the Yana River in central Siberia has added at least another 15,000 tears to the previous date. Human occupation of this area could now go as far back as 30,000 years ago.

Dr Vladimir Pitulko of St Petersburg led a team of scientists who discovered the site. Uncovered were stone and ivory tools which included spear tips made of rhinoceros horn and mammoth tusk. The surprise findings indicate that humans were able to survive in harsh conditions during glacial times in this particular part of Siberia while the east of the Northern Hemisphere was entombed in ice.

Scientists are also trying to make connections between the existence of these humans in Siberia and the Clovis who are considered the first humans in North America. The similarity of the tools found in both areas suggests the possibility that at some point the people in Siberia made their way across from Asia to the Americas. Some scientists see this as evidence to explain the peopling of the Americas via Bering Land Bridge.

5.hotel

Start with:Hello, I'm going to visit your place but I would like to ask a few questions first.

Finish:Thank you very much for your help. I'll call back later.

VI. Imagine that while travelling around Greece during your holidays you took some photos. Choose one photo to present it to your friend. You have 1,5 minute to think it over.

When presenting the picture remember to mention:

-when you took the photo

-what/ who is in the photo

-what is happening

-why you took the photo

• Start with:While travelling I always take lots of photos and today I am going to tell you about Picture ... (What are the people in the photo doing? What clothes are they wearing? Are they happy or sad, angry, bored or tired? Why?).

• Finish :I’ll never forget that day. This photo will always remain me the great time in Greece.

• It was the most brilliant thing that has ever happened to me.

VII. Now you can see how changed Greece from the ancient times. But not only countries changed and people did it. Study the two photographs. In 1,5 minute be ready to compare and contrast the photographs: Now I am going to compare and contrast these two photographs. In the first picture we can see...
