Сценарий праздника «Mother’s Day» на английском языке Автор: Базунц Э.В. Описание материала: Предлагаем Вам сценарий праздника ко Дню Матери . Данное внеурочное мероприятие может быть полезен как учителям, работающим с дошкольниками, так и учителям, преподающим английский язык. На празднике дети в стихотворной и песенной форме закрепляют , и развивают монологическую речь, рассказывая о своих мамах, о том, как они их любят и как помогают им. Цель: ознакомление с традицией праздновать День Матери в Великобритании и России поздравление мам и бабушек в песенной и стихотворной форме на английском языке. Задачи:
1)учить выразительно читать, активизировать ранее изученные лексико-грамматические структуры в речи детей;
2)развивать познавательную активность детей; развивать фонематический и музыкальный слух, память;
3) воспитывать интерес к занятиям английским языком, любовь к мамам и бабушкам, уважение к их труду.
Оборудование: оформление класса (шары, плакаты), ТСО, музыкальное сопровождение (к началу мероприятия, музыка к песне Mother`s Day.
Предварительная подготовка: изготовление подарков для гостей.
Ход праздника (Stages): Ведущий 1 Good morning , dear guests! Hello, children! We are happy to see you here on this autumn lovely day ! Ведущий 2 Children, now I’m going to ask you different questions and we all together will find the topic of our today`s holiday. Answer my questions in chorus: “Mummy!” Ведущий1 - Who wakes you up and kisses you? (Mummy!)
Ведущий2:- Who says it’s time to wash your face? (Mummy!)
Ведущий 1:- Who cooks you breakfast, dinner and supper? (Mummy!)
Ведущий 2:- Who likes your smile, asks not to cry? (Mummy!)
Ведущий1:- Who helps you, plays with you and sings? (Mummy!)
Ведущий2:- Who gives you presents and tasty things? (Mummy!)
Ведущий1:- Who loves you and your Daddy deeply? (Mummy!)
Ведущий2:- Who is the best for you and me? (Mummy!) You know we celebrate Mother`s Day . (дети хором) Mother’s Day in Great Britain is quite an old holiday. Long ago children in GB began working when they were very young; they worked hard far away from their families and sent money they earned home. Ведущий 1: They could visit their parents only once a year. They used to bring their mothers and grandmothers little presents – flowers and eggs. Nowdays Mother`s Day celebrated three weeks before Easter. Adults visit their mothers, bring flowers and send them special cards. Ведущий 2: English Mother’s Day is similar with International Women’s Day, which is widely celebrated in Russia.. Ведущий1: Ребята, слово МАМА – звучит одинаково нежно и ласково на всех языках мира. А как оно звучит на английском языке? Mother, Mummy, Mom. Ведущий 2: Children know their mothers very well, but we don’t. They want to tell us what their mothers . Let’s listen to them!

Ведущий1:Mother's Day was celebrated for the first time more than 30 years ago. The first subject that established the celebration was Yakutia. Then the tradition was adopted in other regions. At the state level, the holiday has been celebrated since 1998 on the last Sunday of November.
Ведущий2:Traditionally on this day congratulate not only their mothers, but also grandmothers, great-grandmothers, as well as all women raising children: daughters, sisters, nieces, friends, including those who are just preparing to experience the joy of MOTHERHOOD.
Ведущий1 :On this festive date, Russians try to spend as much time as possible with their mothers, arranging for them an unforgettable day off, and give them maximum attention. But not only families, but also schools, libraries, kindergartens take part in the celebration. They hold various events, drawing contests, concerts and exhibitions.

Ведущий1: Mother’s role can never be underestimated in a child’s life. A child without the shelter of a mother is like a body without a soul. This day also qualifies as a gift-giving day as mothers are given special gifts to thank for their selfless services!
Ведущий 2: If you’re in Russia and looking for ways to celebrate Mother’s Day then you could attend the special masses which are held for mothers.Use this holiday to help your mother out with chores around the house.
