Урок 1 (по модулю 5 в учебнику)
Тема: Дикие животные: удивительные создания со всего мира
Цели урока: создать условия для
ознакомления с новой лексикой по теме: «Природа (дикие животные)» и закрепления его в упражнениях;
развития монологической речи используя изученную лексику (описание диких животных).
Проверяемые результаты:
Предметные: активировать лексику по теме «Дикие животные», научиться описывать внешность, среду обитания, питание и удивительные способности животных.
Метапредметные: развивать навыки аудирования, чтения и говорения; умение извлекать информацию из текста и визуальных опор.
Личностные: воспитывать интерес к миру живой природы, бережное отношение к животным.
Оборудование: учебник, интерактивная доска/экран, карточки с зашумленными картинками, карточки с загадками, таблицы для заполнения.
Ход урока:
I. Начало урока
1. Организационный момент (2-3 минуты)
Teacher: Hello, everyone! I'm glad to see you. Take your seats, please. How are you today?
Expected Students' Answers: We are fine, thank you. And you?
Teacher: I'm great, thank you. Let's start our lesson with a small puzzle. Look at the screen, please.
2. Мотивация и введение в тему. "Зашумленные картинки" (5-7 минут)
Teacher: Look carefully. What animal is it? Can you guess?
(Teacher: Excellent! It's an elephant! And this one? (Процесс повторяется для 2-3 животных).
Teacher: So, tell me, what is the topic of our lesson today?
Expected Students' Answers: We are going to speak about wild animals.
Teacher: Absolutely right! Wild Animals! And not just wild animals, but Amazing Creatures.
Teacher: Now, let's see what you will learn today. Read the goals and say "Yes" if you agree.
We’ll learn the names of wild animals. (Yes!)
We’ll learn to describe them. (Yes!)
We’ll learn to talk about where they live and what they eat. (Yes!)
We’ll learn amazing facts about them. (Yes!)
II. Основная часть урока
1. Актуализация лексики и работа с текстом (15 минут)
Teacher: Great! You already know many animals. Let's brainstorm. What wild animals do you know?
Students: (tiger, lion, bear, giraffe, monkey, crocodile...)
Teacher: Good job! Why can we call them "amazing"? How do you understand this word?
Students: (They are unusual, interesting, they can do special things...)
Teacher: Correct! Now, open your Student's Books at page 66, ex.1. Look at the map. Which countries can you see? (India, Nepal...). And which continent is it? Is it in Africa or Asia? (South Asia).
Teacher: Look at the animals on the map. Repeat after me: the Bengal tiger, the Indian elephant, the Indian rhino, the Indian cobra.
Teacher: Now, let's listen to the text about these amazing animals. Listen carefully.

Teacher: Now let's read the text one by one.
(Чтение текста по цепочке. Обсуждение и перевод новых слов, которые учитель выписывает на доску: stripes, grass, hunt, venom, mud, trunk и т.д.)
2. Первичное закрепление. Работа с таблицей (7-8 минут)
Teacher: Now, you have tables on your desks. Let's complete the first one using information from the text.

III. Закрепление материала. Игра "Animal Riddles" (7-8 минут)
(Вместо монологического рассказа ученики разгадывают и составляют загадки)
Teacher: Now, it's time for a fun game! "Animal Riddles". I will read a riddle, and you try to guess the animal.
Teacher (читает загадку 1):
It is big and grey.
It has a long nose called a trunk.
It lives in forests of Asia and Africa.
It eats plants, leaves and fruit.
The most amazing thing about it is that it can use its trunk to drink water.
What animal is it? (An elephant!)
Teacher (читает загадку 2):
It is orange with black stripes.
It is very strong and fast.
It lives in the forests and tall grass of Asia.
It hunts deer and other animals.
It can hide in the grass very well. People are afraid of it
What animal is it? (A tiger!)
Задание для учеников (в парах или малых группах):
Teacher: Now, it's your turn! Work in pairs. Choose one amazing animal (from our list or any other you know) and create your own riddle! Use this plan to help you:
Describe its appearance. (It is... It has got...)
Say where it lives. (It lives in...)
Say what it eats. (It eats...)
Tell one amazing fact about it. (The most amazing thing is... It can...)
Ученики готовят загадки в парах, затем загадывают их классу. Кто первый угадал – получает условный балл.
IV. Конец урока
1. Подведение итогов. Домашнее задание (2 минуты)
Teacher: Well done, everyone! You worked very well today. Tell me, what was the most interesting thing for you today?

Homework:
Learn the new words.
Write a short riddle about your favourite wild animal (6-7 sentences) in your copybook. We will guess them in the next lesson.
