Ход урока

I. Подготовка учащихся к речевой деятельности на английском языке.

1. Организационный момент.

T: Good morning, guys. How are you?

P: Good morning. We are fine, thank you. How are you?

(если учащиеся не будут знать этой формулы, то показать в презентации и дать списать)

T: I’m fine too, thank you.

It’s a traditional English greeting. Let’s memorize it. (you can write it down).

Hello. How are you? – Привет. Как дела?

I’m fine, thank you. And how are you? – Хорошо, спасибо, а как у вас дела?

I’m fine too, thank you. – у меня тоже хорошо, спасибо.

Who is on duty today? What date is it today?

P: It’s the 20th of February.

T: What day is it today?

P: It’s Saturday.

T: Who is absent today?

P: …

T: Ok. Thank you.

2. Сообщение целей урока.

T: Today we are going to review Unit 15 and also grammar from units 13, 14, 15. On Thursday you will have a test. Also I’m going to give you marks for your work during the lesson.

3. Фонетическая зарядка.

1) Презентация материала.

T: But at first I want to give you another tongue-twister.

There was a fisherman named Fisher

who fished for some fish in a fissure.

2) Контроль понимания.

T: Write it down in your copybooks. I’m sure you know who a fisherman is. We read about one fisherman last time, didn’t we? You don’t know only the word fissure. Fissure means расщелина.

fissure [ˈfɪʃə] (картинка).

4) Фонетическая отработка материала в последовательности звук-слово.

T: Pay attention to the sounds [f] and [ʃ]. Pronounce them distinctly after me (T-C):

[f], [ʃ] – fisherman, Fisher, fished, fish, fissure

T: And again: fisherman, Fisher, fished, fish, fissure. Well done, thank you.

5) Фонетическая и интонационная отработка скороговорки в хоровом и индивидуальном режимах.

T: Now read the tongue twister after me starting with the last word.

T: Guys, what other words did we learn at the previous lesson?

T: you are right. Look at the board. If you don’t know the translations, write them down, please. What does a fisherman mean?

P: рыбак.

T: Yes. What does to speak mean?

P: говорить

T: Yes. What does silly mean?

P: глупый

T: Yes. What does to be surprised mean?

P: быть удивленным

T: Yes. What does a sausage mean?

P: сосиска.

T: Yes. What does delicious mean?

T: Yes. What does to wish for mean?

Exercise 1. Match profession of a person with a thing he does.

III. Повторение пройденного грамматического материала.

T: Now, pay attention to the sentences I help people who live in the hotel. And I help animals which are ill. Why we use who is one sentence and which in the other sentence?

P: С первом предложении who относится к людям, а во втором which относится к животным.

T: Yes. Do you remember this rule? We use who when we are talking about people. We use which when we are talking about things or animals.

Exercise 2. Fill the gaps with who/which.

  1. She met a woman … works on TV.

  2. Do you like the present … we gave you?

  3. Her last film … I couldn’t understand at all was a great success.

  4. People … live in flats shouldn’t have animals.

  5. The car … he bought last month is fantastic.

  6. He was that boy … was talking at the meeting.

  7. The company … I work for is based in Italy.

P: Do you like the present which we gave you?

P: Her last film which I couldn’t understand at all was a great success.

P: People who live in flats shouldn’t have animals.

P: The car which he bought last month is fantastic.

P: He was that boy who was talking at the meeting.

P: The company which I work for is based in Italy.

T: Good of you. Now pay attention to the sentence He was that boy who was talking at the meeting. What time do you see here?

P: Past simple and past continuous.

T: Yes. Let’s recall how we form past continuous.

P: Мы используем was/were и глагол с окончанием –ing.

T: You are right. Now exercise 3. You can see some questions on the board. Work in pairs. One of you will ask the questions and the other will answer. Use past continuous.

  1. Were you having dinner at 2 o’clock yesterday?

  2. Was your mother cooking when you came home yesterday? What was she doing?

  3. Were the children sitting at their desks when you entered the classroom?

  4. Were the little children running along the corridor when the lesson began?

  5. Were you doing your homework at 7 o’clock last night?

  6. Were you watching TV at 11 o’clock last night? What were you doing?

(пока они обсуждают, подходить к парам и слушаем. Потом попросить одну или две пары сделать упражнение для класса, пока остальные слушают).

T: Well done. Thank you. Now pay attention to questions 2,3 and 4. What rule do you see here?

P: Прерывающееся действие в прошлом. Мы используем past continuous для обозначения длительного действия, которое прерывается коротким действием past simple.

T: Good of you. Exercise 4. Put the verbs in the correct form.

  1. When I (to come) home, my little sister (to sleep).

  2. When I (to get) up, my mother and father (to drink) tea.

  3. When I (to see) my friends, they (to play) football.

  4. When I (to open) the door, the cat (to sit) on the table.

  5. When Tom (to cross) the street, he (to fall).

P: When I came home, my little sister was sleeping.

P: When I got up, my mother and father were drinking tea.

P: When I saw my friends, they were playing football.

P: When I opened the door, the cat was sitting on the table.

P: When Tom was crossing the street, he fell over.

P: When we were going to the cinema, we met our grandmother.

P: When I was washing the floor, I found my old toy under the sofa.

P: When I was playing in the yard, I suddenly saw my old friend.

P: He was walking along the river when a boat passed.



T: Great. Well, now look at these sentences and tell me why we use I and they in the beginning and him and us in the end.

I like him.

They play with us.

P: местоимения I и they подлежащие. Если местоимение – подлежащее, то оно употребляется в именительном падеже, а если дополнение, то в объектном падеже. Him и us – дополнения.



T: You are right. Have everyone recalled? On the board you can see their forms.
