Урок-проект по теме "Our Hobbies" (6 - Б класс)

Проектная методика характеризуется высокой коммуникативностью, предполагает выражение учащимися своих собственных мнений, чувств, активное включение их в реальную деятельность, принятие личной ответственности за результаты.

Тема: "Our Hobbies"

Цели урока:

- формирование коммуникативных компетенций по теме “How do you spend your free time? Hobbies”;

- развитие познавательных интересов учащихся, умения социального общения в совместной деятельности;

- формирование творческого мышления учащихся, умения обосновывать свою точку зрения.

Задачи урока:

совершенствование речевых умений по теме;

совершенствование умений аудировать с целью извлечения необходимой информации;

развивать интерес к учебно-познавательной деятельности на иностранном языке, развивать логику, внимание, память, целостность высказывания;

формирование уважительного отношения к увлечениям других людей, к мнению другого человека.

совершенствование умений читать текст с детальным пониманием;

обобщение и систематизация полученных знаний.

Оборудование урока: проектор, диск DVD “Click On TV 1”, таблицы для письменной работы.

Ход урока

I. Орг. Момент

Good morning, children! Take your seats, please, and get ready for the lesson. It’s very nice to see you.

Today we will speak about our hobbies and free time. And now, let’s practice our pronunciation and remember free time activities.

II. Речевая зарядка. There are many different classes of hobbies. Try to name some of them.

Учащиеся заполняют “Word Web”

Учитель зачитывает небольшие рассказы – описание различных хобби. Учащиеся, прослушав рассказ, заполняют таблицу, вписывая название хобби.

1. This hobby is popular among the people of all ages. People like to go the stadium or to the sports ground. They are strong and cheerful. Their hobby helps them to develop their mind and body and teaches them to plan their time. (Sport.)

2. This hobby is interesting and useful. People try to find or buy different things such as stamps, badges, coins, pictures, dolls, etc. Their collections can be thematic. This hobby helps people to make new friends and to learn some new things about countries and lands, animals and birds, famous people and historical events. (Collecting.)

3. People like work in the garden and to spend some time in the fresh air. They are fond of flowers, bushes, trees and different kinds of plants. They like nature and admire the beauty of nature. Their hobby is the best way to relax. (Gardening.)

4. People like to make new dishes. They often cook for the family and for their friends. They can present the food nicely and lay the table beautifully. They use spices (vinegar, oil, pepper, etc.) They can boil or fry meat, fish, and chicken and make souses and deserts. (Cooking.)

5. People like to go to the library. Some of them a good collection of books at home. And they are really proud of it. They can have different books: fiction, historical novels, books about animals and birds, books about different countries. Their hobby helps them to relax, to learn the world and understand other people better. (Reading.)

III. Презентация проектов. Приводятся индивидуальные работы проектов студентов (проекты демонстрируются.)

Несколько человек представляют свои проекты.

Your hometask was to prepare projects about your hobbies Let’s speak about your hobbies. (презентация проектов учащихся по теме “Hobbies”. На первом уроке по данной теме детям были предложены три вида проектов: “Sport ”, “Music”, “Reading” Дети, выбравшие первый вид проекта, объединились в первую группу. Те, кто решил рассказать о других видах увлечений, представляют вторую и третью группу. Представители каждой группы рассказывают о своём хобби .На данном этапе работы учитель просит учеников слушать выступающих, записывать ключевые слова по каждому проекту , задавать вопросы .

V. Работа в парах.

Look at the screen but be attentive. Presentation “What do they do in their free time?”

Go, play, do.

What does Philip do in his free time?
He plays basketball, goes cycling and does crosswords but he doesn’t play chess. (слайд 3)

What does Katy do in her free time? (слайд 4)

Ask your pair. The children ask each other use Present Simple do/ does/ don’t/ doesn’t (слайды 6- 11)

How good is your memory? What’s his/her name? (слайд 12)

He goes fishing, plays the violin and does crosswords but he doesn’t do yoga or play ice hockey. (Mr. Black)

She plays pool, goes swimming and does aerobics but she doesn’t play football or play the piano. (Linda)

He plays the drums, goes skiing does athletics and plays computer games but he doesn’t go shopping. (Frank)

Stand up, interview your classmates and find someone who plays football but doesn’t play computer games. (слайд 13)

VI. Homework Ask your parents what they do in their free time and tell your classmates.

VII. Итог урока. I’d like to say that it’s very interesting to have a hobby. Hobbies help us to learn more about our planet, to be more intelligent and well-educated. We should all have a hobby and our life will be more interesting. Did you like our lesson?
